It just keeps getting worse for the Caldar logi. In total, this is what the nerf is going to do to my character's abilities at the proto level:
-91 HP reduction because of the change to the bonus.
-40+ CPU reduction simply because the devs has said so (this makes no sense).
-An expensive but necessary investment in shield regulators (because it's the new, albeit temporary Caldari logi bonus) of almost 1 mil SP, which will result in obtaining a module that will return my shield recharge delay to a level that is just barely better than it was prior to 1.3. This is problematic because this module takes up a low spot (causing me to lose something else) and the devs have already stated that the shield regulator bonus is only temporary, which makes plunging precious skill points into it even more of a sham.
This is a garbage move, CCP. I don't care what kind of history you have doing this sort of thing in EVE, it still reeks of bait and switch.
I was on the fence about respecs before all of this was announced, but now I'm squarely in the camp in favor of them. Had the Caldari logi had these limitations to begin with, I would have certainly chosen a different path. In fact, being a Gallente logi is looking pretty amazing right now.

The suit will now be brought in line with what it was supposed to do and make it much harder to pull off the Super Assault builds we've been seeing. If no one expected this honestly you need only look at TAC ARs and their overwhelming popularity a few months ago.
Now that I think about it, PC matches have been sort of like a testing grounds for the most OP suits/weapons in the game. When it first came out, the first month of PC was nothing but Duvolle TACs and Calogis, then it became Flaylocks, LAVs, and Contact Nades...
I'm wondering what the next batch of FotM we're going to get... |

You know, you could probably fit something like a CPU enhancer into the extra slot you still have. Like everyone else does.. |

If its actually -40 CPU I think I'm gone for good. That's going to -50 CPU from my build after counting dropsuit electronics.
Holy ******* ****... he ninjad that **** in.
Caldari
Lower Caldari Logistics CPU: 20 at STD (down to 175 from 195), 28 at ADV (down to 245 from 273) and 40 at PRO (down to 350 from 390)

Lol Gallente Logi, trust me that you will cry playing a Gallente suit. We are so weak compared to other suits, the only upside to being a Gallente Logi is strictly support, but we are very squishy and slow. |

You guys laugh, but many of us who chose Caldari logi were actually support players with good intentions. We had no idea that the suit was going to be exploited by assault players. I went Caldari because I felt that despite having less equipment, the exceptional surviverability was worth the trade off. The Caldari logi suit no longer has that edge. Come 1.3, the Gallente logi will better tanked, have more equipment slots, and have absolutely no problem fitting anything because of its outstanding equipment bonus, which decreases the CPU and PG for equipment 5% per level. With certain configurations of equipment that could result in savings of around 80+ CPU and 20+ PG.
Had these suits stacked up this way to begin with, I would be a Gallente logi right now. |

If I were a Gallente logi, I could fit it with shields and armor totaling over 900+ HP, a proto weapon, four pieces of proto equipment, and probably a proto grenade. Speed would be my only deficit. You call that squishy? |

The problem wasn't really with people using the Caldari Logi Suits as Logi's It was the assault guy that were using the suits as killers.
This is an over nerf they should've just reduced the caldari shield bonus to 10% and reduced the amount of damage Logi's did by 10% instead of all this nerfing across the board to logi's |
