You talk alot about competition.

Lets look at Europe for a second. FORGET about them. PC is not setup to promote US vs Europe it wont happen, blame timezones and real life whatever.

Next US players. You and your buddies have successfully amassed the top 5% tile of skilled and dedicated players into one alliance. It took you a year, congratulations. You did it, bravo. You beat all the competition so bad it only took you a few days to conquer the next biggest alliance. But you have no problem with this because it means you are "winning". But you are ruined the community at the same time. You might not have had the foresight to see this happen, and nobody blames you. Because all you care about is winning and that is common in the FPS world right? CCP left PC in the hands of the players. Would anyone leave anything in the hands of an online FPS player? I wouldnt let one of you fucks pull weeds from my lawn let alone run anything else. You sit in the corner throwing stones at the rest of the community saying back off this is our chunk of made up internet space, get good scrubs. Here, have a small piece of cake because we are so generous while the rest of us 5%'ers sit in the corner admiring eachothers KDR and piles of isk.

Shoutout to Teamplayers and EoN bros for securing land for indies. But I'd like to know if they are waging war against each other. It may be understandable that they can not launch or wage war against veteran corps but I'm thinking that you guys need to go at it.

Molden Heath shouldn't be only about EoN, LOI, Cronos, or any of the other veteran corps and alliances. Pick your wars and expand and experience PC.

Before LOI lost the war, EoN wasn't OP. Noone really knew what the outcome of the war was going to be because both alliances had good corps in it. Now, EoN is full of pussies because EoN won the war?

Anyway....EoN doesn't have to fight eah other. Point of this thread is to encourage other wars. EoN doesn't have to be front cover of Molden Heath. I'd like to see Top Men vs D.E.F I.A.N.C.E. vs Rust 415 vs General Tso's Alliance etc

People need to stop thinking that EoN is just a hodge-podge of Corps that sit down once a week and talk about the fancies of Molden Heath.

EoN is more close to it's own "mega corp" than it is an Alliance at all. Mav does one *hell* of a job keeping coordination together. Communication is key, and many of the other alliances that aren't doing anything could probably learn a lot from how effective a communicator all of EoN's leaders are to one another.

We aren't just buddies who are in it to win as a team, we are brothers in arms. We pay each other back for ****, we do things for free for each other, we do whatever is necessary to keep EoN a healthy, happy atmosphere. Nothing can bring that down....Nothing.

Guy listen, we all know you dont HAVE to accept the challenge of getting some competitive fights going. The question is will you? If you dont, you are pussies, especially those corps that joined EoN in the weeks leading up to "the war". You cant use the excuse "but random alt, we formed EoN years and years ago, we all love eachother and will be together for ever even after Dust 514 is rotting in the ground".

TP are some great players, but their competitive edge, much like Hellstorm's, Internal Error's, and other "elite" teams is more than slightly fueled by the effects of an SP gradient across the community. We've found out that the SP ceiling for relevant gear is something like 12-20 million SP for just one given specialization. The proportion of the community that has reached this barrier is...exceedingly low.


In a 16 v 16 match on the maps as they are designed, every single SP you're missing up to this ceiling is an extreme disadvantage. Without that 12mil SP, you will be missing a module, weapon, or other piece of gear, and any of these is huge.

What's more, missing any of these is FRUSTRATING. When you're losing to opponent not based on strategy, tactics, or coordination but based simply on a rote calculation, that wears on people. Even worse, it wears the most on people who have been playing nearly enough to match those SP totals because those are the players who match up in skill, just not skill points.



Someone asked earlier what ROFL is doing. Among other things, we're replenishing our player base with this competitive amount of skill points.


The reason nobody wants to fight EON. is that simple fact. Nobody else has the same number of high-SP players ready for matches. Those that were here have left the game, in the large part due to the mechanics issues that ran rampant throughout PC before 1.2., and otherwise because that skill point gradient is the most frustrating thing to encounter in a game.


Above all, nobody feels like losing to the game, rather than to an enemy team of players.



Let me emphasize, there are many great core teams out there in terms of raw player skill. But that's nowhere near the only deciding factor of matches.

agreed dubs. theres a LOT of organized corporations that still play this game that are not in PC.

this game NEEDS many of these corps to organize and mobilize. I for one am more than open to freeing up some space to get them on their feet, much like I have done with the indie corps, just there would be a small grace period before aggression would take place.. we want FIGHTS!!!

ive been in contact with some and I know there are some talks, but nothing is set yet. I can only hope some of these corps hit me up as I'm trying to gain platinum status for the Molden Heath Real Estate Agency.

All liens on properties will be removed upon sale, and a grace period issued on the part of Eon. to get you settled and get your trip to IKEA out of the way.

also, there is still some space left for indie corps to get in. I believe only 5 slots remaining so don't delay!
