So go 2 shot those shields tanks and don't come here complaining how your FG is not effective against armor. forge does 89% of the damage on armor and 109% on shields, not really even. and yes this is true and rails do the same %'s Alright, my bad. |

lets just face it, CCP doesn't give a **** about anyone but infantry that whine about not one shotting everything, even the AV players agree with us that tanks are badly UP......
back in chromosome was the closets we ever got to perfect balance but in uprising theyv just thrown it all away because the infantry guys kept whining that they couldn't one shot everything......
iv been doing this **** for far too long..... too many arguments all to be taken down by CCP giving the infantry what they want and never giving us what we need.... im done with this ****.. |

The tactic that will be forced upon armor tanks is hit and run. Which you would assume the llavs would have but not in dust Blam loves his lavs. |

actually its encouraging redline sniping even more because of the lack of survivability in close combat. either that or there encouraging every tank driver to quit |

So we can't even rail gun snipe properly. Their next step will be banning tank drivers from the forums after we show everyone just how useless that that have made us. The funny thing is that I thought Caldari HAVs were meant for hit and run while Gallente HAVs were meant for taking on the punishment. |

Hello Blackjack. Just wanted to say, try something new, a hybrid tank. Put shields on an armor tank and vice versa. A solution to tanking problems is variety. We only have 2 types of tanks, standard and enforcer. We only have 2 variations of each, gallente and caldari. We should have a breach HAV or another variation. We should also have amarr and minmatar.
There should be more variety. People are getting used to the same tanks, so it's the same strategy to take it out. Being a vehicle driver should be the same as being infantry, only bigger and better. The difference: price and SP.
That's just my two cents. |

I agree that this "fix" will help with shield vs armor tank balance but it will be leaving armor tanks to contend with proto AVs coming from everywhere. I run both shield and armor tanks and I would rather have shield tanks buffed to be on par with the armor tanks now to help with tank vs tank fights while leaving both with defenses against the ever growing pool of proto AV weapons. Either that or reduce the price of tanks dramatically to reflect the fact CCP seems to think they are less of an investment now and in line with the more "expendable" dropsuits. |
