I think we need to put our foot down and say no, I mean this is what the game is not destined for a respec anytime anything new is added.

I mean where are we going to be a couple years from now when there are dozens of vehicles types and suits totaling your number of ways to play as to easily into the hundreds.

So we should not allow a respec because of some game that may or may not exist in the future and CCP is not even willing to tell us about it.

And it is an EvE player who is telling us how great this game will one day be.....

I mean, really, do you people even thinking before posting this ****? You do realize pretty much all of use were gamers long before we encountered EVE, and this is not our first FPS.

But then I'm just being an idiot. You can't be cool around here without thinking CCP are terrible people and this game is just a ****** EVE-clone that's doomed to failure.

This isn't a couple of years from now, this is present day now. This is an incomplete game where they're messing around with fundamental aspects of basic things like dropsuits.

People want to be able to make simple decisions on the most basic setups without having everything turned on it's head every time CCP decides it's time for a patch.

This isn't "Oh, I wanted to play with tanks before but now they've released Jets... recpec plz"

This is "Oh, I wanted to play as this kind of logi but now they've swapped stats and slots around and the suit that was perfect for my play style is a total piece of crap... respec please"

There are plenty of ways to skin the cat though just some ways may wind up creating problems in the future.

I mean why do you think games like call of duty added in a prestige mode?

Optional full respect when possible just trivializes and will lead to the creation to a bad game environment to where the purchasable respect is a pay to win feature that only favors the rich and smart and lack of variety, creativity, and uniqueness of every player and every soldier.

Answers and solutions are not always simple and creating an environment where refunds, respects, and resets are common is disenfranchising the most to veteran and elite players.

Pretty sure everyone knows COD prestige is just for E peen and means nothing

You get extra soldier slots with it these days or early unlocks and special skins and camo not normally available.

But lets say... Remove the prestige mode from call of duty. What then?

I both laugh at and weep for this community which is filled with people who APEC into FLOTM gear and then complain when it gets nerfed, and then has the audacity to demand a respec so they can spec into the next FLOTM gear. Here is exactly what we said would happen if respecs were to be made available on demand.

Anyway remove prestige and you still have a well functioning shooter offering various customization options in both fittings, game modes, and appearance which is why people play it in the first place
Personally though I dislike the whole "60 bucks every year for what basically amounts to a map pack"
