You mean the fact that Dust is F2P? Because that's not an argument. So, I think my point is pretty clear. Grow Up. You obviously don't know how F2P works. I think the rest of us understand it pretty well though, just not you I guess. No your just being childish and pointing a finger at me and calling me a child, and completely ingnoring the point I've made, which is a very valid point: If you're not paying the sub more than likely (by a huge margin) you are not enjoining this game. Here let me demonstrate if we can get 20 people to come to this thread in the next hour and say (honestly) that they do not buy boosters, or at no point have, and that they feel that they are enjoying this game as much as anyone who uses boosters, then I'll concede my point.
il be the 1st person, now we need 19 more players to do so |

Well, I'm sorry, but you are being a child.
The point of any business is to make money.
Also, even in passive SP alone, players can earn something like 4.2 mil SP since the game went open beta, close to twice that if they play to their cap, so, 8 or 9 mil Sp seems pretty doable without boosters. I'm sure they're doing fine.
Point is, the game is F2P. You tried to be all pithy by suggesting that someone "pulled the F2P card" Which was childish of you because that's what Dust is - F2P.

Fully passive SP + 1 SP / WP no cap.
You have an incentive to play if you want... but you're not stressed out trying to make weekly caps in order to stay ahead of the nerf wave. |

And they are even paying monthly sub for their game to accumulate skills. And you have free to play game to get your SP however you want. The breakdown: DUST 514 - Free to play game - Changes 1 thing, everyone goes up in arms about it and wants to reset their character EVE ONline - sub $15 month game - Changes 10 things in expansion - nobody cares and moves on playing as they used to I am not at all a supporter of respecs, but I hate it when people try to play the F2P card. This game is not F2P! There is a $20 a month subscription fee ($5 mor than EVE). if you are not paying the sub, you are doing it wrong, and are probably having a a terrible time of this game. Seriously? Just give it a rest.
Only Boosters I've used so far are the one I got with my Merc Pack from last year, and a single Omega I bought recently to make up for not being able to play the game due to lack of PS3.
You don't need to constantly run boosters to have fun. That's just ********. |

Let's assume that we had stuff like PVE, PC/FW that mattered, missions, bounties, industry, all without EVE and Dust being forced to drink from separate water fountains. Would you still be against fully passive SP? |

That 99% is probably a statistic that can be said about any game at some point in time. People who skilled into a suit because it was op should get kicked in the butt. Passive SP would fix this game. The problem is burn out, for some reason people think that the only way yo play the game is to run proto gear and grind SP. There is where you went wrong. You should be playing for fun and not for SP. SP doesn't really mean much after a month or two. A couple of months of gaming should allow you to have a good fit. Quit grinding and start playing and the game is a lot more fun. This isn't a second job unless you make it one. Any game that a person plays for three hours a day five days a week is going to get old. Take a break, play another game and it will be OK if someone has more SP than you. |

Wow, you're right, I am making you look stupid. Sorry. That's kinda rude of me. What was your astute point again? Oh yeah. That Dust isn't F2p. he. hehehe. oops |

Nah, it isn't that bad. It only takes about nine hours to grind a cap. Over a seven day period, that's a pretty leisurely pase. |

I have not ever bought boosters, and unless I anticipate going on a month long holiday, will probably not buy boosters. SP isn't everything |
