Damn don't I know it, fitting the laser is insanely good with the Assault Suit. I can rack up kills from superior range, and lay down to amazing suppressive fire. Its a terrifying thing to see beams of light cutting the air.
I am more of a Cqc person and while i get it to work with the Imperial, its gonna be really hard work to make the flashlight work at those ranges lol

I tend to balance between the CRD and the ELM rifles. Both are vastly different in application, but ruthlessly effective against the enemies of God. |

I have just one Suit Setup to smite the unbelievers, thats ussually more then they can handle :) But i clearly remember the old Viziam Days, like being struck down by God himself in less then you could say Dafuq (especially if he had 3 damage mods lol)
How far is it at from those days ? rough estimate ?

I run both the CRD and ELM at the same time Only time I have to choose between them is when deciding how I wish to smite them! |

I really wanna try out the commando but have revised my dual scrambler idea down to Scrambler + Breach shotgun :)
First step, Breach the compound then second step Scramble all of their brains :p |

Meh I prefer to breach with an 80GJ Blaster..... a mean I would rather do it with a Large Pulse Laser Cannon..... |

Why not fit a 2200mm Howitzer straight from an eve Battleship with faction ammo, might require some tinkering to get it to fit :p |

If you're not using LRs then yeah, ain't too much in it apart from the higher than standard fitting for Basics/Assaults.
Are they the same speed? Usually Logi is slower, sure you're not overlooking that? The LR is already deadly, you can easily see your target through the sights and when you are using it at the proper distance no one is able to outrun even your slower tracking speed. But as I stated, the bonus is only good if you are using the LR and why have a bonus that only has a decent bonus if using a specific weapon? And yeah the logi is a bit slower. So it trades 60 shield and a little speed for all the extra highs/lows, CPU, and equipment. Still not a fair trade. Wait I thought that the bonus affected LRs and SCRs |

I am more of a "ill use everything that brings my opponents down" Purist, except Eplosive weapons :p
I wouldnt be using the Shotgun much, only at times when you run into a door not expecting company only to find a whole party started without you and would serve as a Pre-Lude to a masscre or when facing down a Heavy.
My range is CQC anyways and with the breach packing OHK's, 2 rounds = 2 less guys, then swap to the SCR to finish of stragglers vs how it goes right is i finish of 2 guys in cqc and are almost maxed out in heat, third guy overheats your gun or you have to swap to my pebble spewer of a Toxic SMG and peck em to death.
You "can" go trough 5 guys with the SCR without overheating, but thats not the average, 2-3 guys is doable on multiple occasions, on many occasions theres a fourth guy just yelling i am alost there guys!
I used to run the Breach Shotgun in chromosone a while with a Caldari Assault suit and got more fanmail in a day then i got from SCR duty.
Its an idea, if it will actually work is something to testrun.
Proto Commando has only 2 highs en 1 low right ? (at work so cant check) |
