Tank drivers are tired of being neglected by prototype AV with no defense. We demand prototype tanks to properly counter the incredibly powerful forge guns and swarm launchers.
WHERE IS BLAM? We are sick of you not addressing the vehicle situation and want a real dev to take care of us.
Support this. With your help we can finally get the field of battle balanced for vehicles and get CCP Blam to do his job.

Honestly if I remember correctly in the last build, Chromosome, the majority of players felt that HAV's and all other vehicles where a little UP then, not by much I think it may have been that AV was a little OP. But when you mention marauder tanks they were the ADV HAV's that they should have been but with a little to steep of a price tag for the upgrade they offered from STD HAV's.
But then again some did say that is what we got for them being so OP during closed beta. |

I've been playing since swarm launchers were dumbfire, and I wouldn't say that tanks have ever been "super OP." There was a short period of time when the tanks were buffed for the purpose of testing in the beta where they were OP, but nothing like you're trying to imply here
.There was definitely some balance issues with them here and there, but 90% of the "OP" comments were the same as they are now, people spec'd into ARs complaining that they can't solo a full squad running a high end tank.
Considering I've only got just over a million SP in infantry skills, and I can relatively easily solo 1 MIL ISK+ tanks... it seems pretty clear to me that vehicles have been over nerfed. |

As a tanker I know that my lovely little Gunlogi is no match for its gallente counterpart, and that a proto forge gun will nix it in no time,but like the infantry shield>armour problem we vehical drivers are going to have to wait for the next patch of dev blog to see of our cries have been answered.

Ya I know, I've been an EVE player for years. Favorite ship/weapons system gets nerfed to hard, wait about a year or more to get it unover nerfed/balanced to where it should have been the whole time. I've seen it happen a lot and it still hurts every time its what someone loves. |

Now I only know the current tanks, never used them prior to 1.2. I have some 13 million SP into my logibro. My AV of choice is proto AV nades. I hate orange tanks, and take every opportunity to kill them. That said I now have around 2 million SP into tanks. So far I find so long as I don't expect to steam roll a map I don't die to much other than an occasional proto swarm or another tank. I do however drive my tank avoiding all the situations that turn into easy tank kills for me on foot. That and I have no problem running away from one guy because I know what one guy can do. |

In the coming months, if nothing changes, HAV's will become what dropships where in chromosome: expensive coffins. Everyone and their brother has proto AV or will have it soon. Their is no way for tanks to defend against it. We are a sitting duck at the standard level haul. Would it me fair if a player could only use a regular assault rifle against a duvolle? I think not. |

There were only OP in closed beta. In Chromosome, only 20 tankers out of all of us were any good. Now that number is down to 10-less, actually, who are truly a terror. |

Yeah I can only imagine... I've been using Somas atm, and while I understand they are militia so they shouldn't be gods.. I can get essentially 1 shotted by a wyrkomi swarm. There's nothing you can do about it... is that seriously intended? To have 3500 armor and a swarm fit that does 2500-3000 per shot?
I mean I don't care so much... I have 15.5m into dropsuits so I can make money pubstomping all day np but for dedicated tankers... its pretty much afk or quit... and that's really sad. |
