Wouldn't it make more sense to fight with humanoid droid in the future? Instead of people? Cost less than clones, does not need to eat or sleep. Can function indefinitely. Weapons do not need to be made ergonomically. Can not be compromised emotionally. No need to waste time training, just download a program into their CPU's.

I'd definitely go with a droid army over clone army. Just give them great programming, thermal vision and give them the ability to function without being connected to a signal. Give them basic programming that prevents them from shooting unarmed civilians... Unless you want them too

 Boom robot army.

Do you mean that you want to play as a robot or fight them as a clone? Because CCP is already planning PVE content with them. But their idea of robots are completely different from yours.

Depends, can robots learn or not? If they can not learn they might be rather a drag to play as, since you would not get skill points. Also, remember in star wars the CLONE army wins and the Droid army is left sucking wind.

Let's be honest now, the droids in Star Wars were pretty bad. They couldn't hit anything with their shots and hundreds of them could be taken out by like 4 guys. smh

I'm talking about high tech robots that could be massed produced to use cover and they would be updated through signals to know how to defeat new techniques on the battlefield. So in a way they 'learn'. Though, only by being updated.

Well, having this kind of robot in the game would add a little more variety along CCP's robots.

 Cost less than clones
I wouldn't think a droid would cost more then a clone since the clone is just organic matter

, does not need to eat or sleep.
Us clones don't need to either. Just shoot yourself if you feel hungry or sleepy

 Can function indefinitely
 We have plenty of clones

No need to waste time training, just download a program into their CPU's.
Well this is a plus but then again robots would have limited storage space unlike us clones which can keep on learning and once we've learned something it carries on to our clones forever

I'd definitely go with a droid army over clone army.
I'd rather have clones at my side

Just give them great programming, thermal vision and give them the ability to function without being connected to a signal.
Thermal vision? Don't you think that in a few thousand years we would be able to hide thermal signatures?

Give them basic programming that prevents them from shooting unarmed civilians...
 That wouldn't be basic.

 Boom robot army.
