HEAVY
The Heavy dropsuit is designed to withstand concentrated small arms fire and protect the wearer from low-grade explosives. Its power-assisted exoskeleton lets the wearer use the heaviest weapons available.
What heavy dropsuits lack in mobility they make up for with incomparable defenses. Mercenaries wearing such armor have been known to survive going toe-to-toe with enemy vehicles.
And this is the weapon you wield?
A multi-barrel, rotary drive machine gun, the HMG is a singularly devastating anti-infantry weapon. Eschewing the advantages of a lighter frame in favour of stopping power, the exponentially increased heat and vibration produced by this Boundless Creation developed weapon makes it almost unbearable to fire. Yet, despite this fact, its above average hit ratio and extreme rate of fire has earned it the nickname "Death's Engine."
Unlike earlier models, the weapon requires no spool up time; rounds are expelled the instant the trigger is pressed. This comes at the cost of initially reduced accuracy as the counter-rotating drives slowly align. Once fully aligned, however, the HMG produces a pin-point stream of gunfire with unmatched killing potential. |

I would love to see more forge toting heavies around and actually maybe some heavies that will shoot an lav with their machine gun I see way to many standing on a safe spot and just looking at the lav when the hmgs rounds will damage the ******* thing since they dont seem to resist hmg fire like other weapons |

Hahaha I wish, this is a glorified BBs gun shooting twice as many BBs as the sub machinegun shoots bullets. You should read the cal logi description pretty funny look it up next time you play. |

Started rolling a Heavy HMG on my alt. So much fun. It took a while to not try to play it like a shotgunner though.
I will burn through a clip to collect my 40 WP on a LAV - if my grenades are empty.

In Chromosome I had a Type-II Heavy with complex shield extenders and an HMG or Laser Rifle. Man, I tore things up with that. They need to make the Caldari Heavy, then I'd consider playing them again. |

My simple balancing ideas:
Heavy - huuugge amount of HP, slow as crap, no equipment slots. To kill, draw it into open or flank and surround it.
Logi - lower than average SP, very few module slots, one weapon slot, tons of equipment slots
Scout - super duper fast, extremely low SP, no grenades, balanced mix of equipment and module slots.
Assault - not bad at anything but not superb either. Medium-low amount of all types of slots
AKA, bring the gameplay back to the original beta build where everything was buggy as crap and there was a lot of unbalance but the suits themselves were fun! |

THAT'S IT! THAT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you look at the stats of the HMG, it has the highest accuracy rating BY FAR of every weapon, and the longer you fire it, the smaller the reticule (or whatever it's called) gets!
That means it's like the laser rifle, only it gets more accurate instead of more powerful! |

I've confirmed it- the longer the HMG fires, the more accurate it gets. However, the range still sucks no matter how long you fire, and there's some VERY noticeable recoil after you fire for that long, which is unrealistic because of how heavy the HMG is. |

They should make it actually pinpoint. I would be fine with heavy fire being as accurate as a laser if they held down R1 for 3 seconds or so. |

Repeatedly since I have played this game I have seen people get kdrs of 20/30 to 1 whioe being a heavy and just using the HMG.
Heavies aren't Assaults. Heavies aren't shotgun scouts. Stop playing as the aggressor and running out everywhere you idiots. Stay in close quarters in spots where enemies can't strafe well. The suit is called "sentinel" for a reason. Its perfect for guarding general areas. There is no class better for camping an objective. |
