i rolled quite heavily into swarms to be able to support my team whenever we were overrun by murder taxis. since the patch i have been unable to kill any vehicles at all without the help of at least 2-3 other players.
did ccp do something to them.
i just did a match and there where 3 of the bpo murder taxis roaming about in the open. i must have done 30k damage to them and not 1 of them died the entire match. and there where others shooting at them aswell. the swarm launcher is now a dead weapon. it no longer has a use |

Perhaps more shield vehicles have started being used.

Shield taxis are everywhere. swarms are only good against armor. Try using the mass driver and flux grenades. |

Probably just allot of people using that new SP requirement free Saga II, you can tell if it is one because your first shot does some damage then your second shot hits and they have hit that magic button and the shields go down by about a millimeter lol. |

first what SL were you using, if its not proto don't even dream of using the SL. second you can look and see your total damage at the end of the match and if you only did 30k then you didn't do that much damage over the course of the match. my HAV has taken over 200k damage and lived over the course of one skirmish match. third, how far into the SL tree did you get and how many damage mods did you have/used. |

I like how this thread title started out as a question but the OP ended by declaring all swarm launchers dead. |

That reflective deflection module is awesome, it doesn't seem to work right but you still get the damage resist, it is quite simply insane, if I put 2 shield amps on for the 8 seconds that module is active I'm running over 100% resist. I'm running in a fit with no added resists jut an extender and a booster and when that mod is on I can shrug off forge guns taking barely any damage. That said I do think the cooldown is disproponate to the active time, it's quite simply easier to just get out recall the LAV and call in a new one then wait for it to cool down. I honestly think when CCP correct their mistake and remove them they should reduce the cooldown somewhat. |

Possibly, I put 4 advanced swarms into the gallente tank while it had its shields down, was sitting still, and didnt have reppers or hardeners active and took maybe a third of its armor off |
