Maybe all scouts on shotties scout registry should have a channel look before the match if scouts are there if so switch to channel or in match if you notice switch to Chanel an organize the safe zone , I say the hills are somewhat better to be not interrupted or roof tops, I think we should do merc battle q syncs 6 on 6 knife fight battle royals with uplinks, ah scratch that dummies with guns will ruin it |

tbh, it's the only time I can reliably get SG hit detection lol |

I would always run SMG and Knives when Uprising first came out, and had many knife duels with awesome Scout players like Mr.mustard (sadly i never got him), there was a Sense of Honor to it, and trying to explain it to non-scouts is like talking to a brick wall.
Even if i had a 200 000 ISK and there was that fellow scout between me and a objective hack, i would still honor him in a dual, if i lost, i would find him on the field again and challenge him again. Same would go if i won they would find me on the field and challenge me again. No other suit holds such a code of honor
Sadly since our number have dropped off the board and alot of well known scouts have switched to either logi or assualt, i rarely find a scout in any matches let alone ones that have blades. So i run mostly Dual SMG's and when i actually see a Scout that uses blades i try my best to change my fit and challenge him.

My primary suite is SMG and Knives. Although I use them defensively I will always whip 'em out when I see a ninja.
I have gotten in fights during huge bullet storms and raging vehicle warfare.... twas soooooo awesome dodging taxis AND AR fire while going at it. I only wish I could've recorded it.

Last night disgruntled an I had a south redline showdown an it was FKN AWESOME FUN!
Untill he put down a link so he didn't have to walk the map to get back an some dummy on his team poached the link an got me twice wit a AR , then I messages the guy to tell him it was a planed knife fight.
Tbh it made me love my knives again, I haven't used them much since they wreaked endurance in 1.2, which is a shame cuz I friggen things, I just find it hard to play the slash an run style I used to, but escaping just seems much harder.
But after the battle I took them into ambush with my sg an r/e an damn it gave me back sOme love for these things.
I used to get 15 /20 kills on average with them but then I just got frustrated with them, so disgruntled thanks for making me bring em out again bro I had a blast! |

To anyone interested in testing new ways of playing when the changes to scanning/spotting come out in 1.4, join the NOVA ZOMBIES chat. We are trying to gather as many scouts/stealth oriented people as possible to form squads.
We welcome scouts of all varieties.
We are looking to test stealth logis in a stealth squad at some point. Logis sporting Kin. Cats and dampeners, please join up! Equipment of particular interest will be active scanners, repair tools, drop uplinks, and possibly REs.
If enough people join by the time 1.4 roles in, we might be able to form many diverse stealth oriented squads!
Vehicle users are also welcome, we never know how a LAV or dropship could prove useful. |
