I know a lot of us hate CoD, I understand that, but really would it be so bad now to take CoD's gameplay and add it to DUST's depth? Some people would complain but at some point you have to come to the realization that CoD is popular because it's...Finished. Thoughts? |

Yes. It would be very bad. The only reason it is popular is because it is a AAA game that gets tons of marketing. (Plus there are some idiots that buy the same game over and over.) |

Nah, just require less skills and the game is basically cater around lil kids. It's basically a babysitter for the parents that don't bother spending time with their kids and it is where you can be racist, use foul language, and trash talk without getting in trouble. |

I've seen enough cod trolling videos to indicate plenty of ppl suck at cod, including myself though only ever played waw. One thing ccp could try to emulate is character movement and stable frame rate.

God no, there is no movement in COD, you're just a floating ball that can run really fast. There's no weight to it. The only reason they have that framerate is because they've used the same engine since 2005! And the maps are super small.
I meant COD sucks in general, I didn't mean it sucks cause it's fast paced. |

It's impossible to implement! Because in COD everybody has the same amount of health.
Plus, in COD the equipment you get first is just as competitive as the gear you unlock last. Nope, Dust has to find it's own way.

Well Alucard, almost every tactical shooter on the present generation consoles has failed. We had high hopes for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Though, they never fully supported the multiplayer.

I never played it, the only thing tactical I've played at all recently is XCOM Enemy Unknown, that is just single player though, but man is it hard. |

That's caused by the terrain not the actual movement.
Also the only thing that needs to be use on dust from CoD (Or any decent shooter) is the FPS and hit detection. |
