Amarr Commando Bonus: +2% to efficacy of shield and armor modules per level.
When the std suit has no module slots. Another useless bonus for the Amarr.

those bonuses are actually amazing, maybe not on that suit, but wtf?

they get a 5% bonus to reload of all light and side arm weapons, caldari assault gets 2% bonus to only hybrid.
they get a 2% bonus to shield and armor, while caldari gets shield regen bonus?

I really am at a loss for words when it comes to the suit bonuses.

honestly my problem with the suit bonuses isn't really with what they do but how little they change the actual roles...and how unfocused the bonuses are towards pushing them towards a role.

This would mean you could have a team of 4 players that could contain:
Repair support Revival support Nanohives Swarm launchers (x2) Mass driver (x1) Multipler AR flavors (x3) And Sniper/Shotgunners (x2)
A commando can partially fulfill multiple roles. They won't be very valuable as a solo class, but could be extremely deadly in packs. |

Base stata are 300/300 Complex armor plate is 118 armor, level 5 armor give 15% bonus level comando give 10% bonus. 118 + 25% = 147 Complex shield is 66, level 5 shield gives 15% level 5 commando is another 10% so 66 + 25% = 84

Not at my game so don't remember skills/stats for sure but.
  Protosuit:
  250 HP shield & 250 HP armor + lvl 5 shield/armor skills = +25% for both = 625 base HP 2 complex shields (66HP x 2) + 25% bonus from skills + 10% bonus from role bonus = 181 Shield HP from modules 1 complex plate (112 HP?) + 25% from skills + 10% from role bonus = 154 Armor HP bonus from modules
Not sure if I got that all right, but that is 960 HP, and there may be one other skill that's 1% armor/shield HP per level, but not sure, which would put you right at about 1000 I think if there is.
Like other people are saying, for the reload bonus, that is as close as you can get to a damage bonus without it being a damage bonus, rapid reload on a lot of weapons will mean lots of damage. |

IMO, the slots should be like this:
  0-1 High-Low @ Standard 1-2 High-Low @Advanced 2-3 High-Low @Prototype
Then you flip that for the Caldari version.
For Galentee and Minmatar make it even, starting at 0-0 or 1-1, depending on how much other stuff (grenades or equipment) they are given.
The slots are horribly low (in count), but that is because they don't want a heavy from from stacking too much health.
My other issue is the speed, it doesn't seem much faster then the regular heavy. |

I don't understand what you are complaining about? You think this suit should require less SP? You could make the same argument about all suits...but maybe assault.
The assault is the easiest entry level class for SP investment. You want a suit class that could out DPS/HP the assault for the same amount of SP? All you will have to do is train the commando spec now and you are set. |

If anything I think this would be reverses. Minmatar and Gallente would start out with lower base HP, minmatar gets more speed, and a little better shield regen.
Gallente would get the flexibility of more slots. Caldari would get the best shield regen.
Wouldn't be suprised to see one class get bonuses that make them better at AV, then also maybe one that gets a clip size buff or something. |

It's time the Gallente weapon manufactures had their day again. Our TAC assault rifles were nerfed due to their superior engineering, now we can show off our technological superiority again.

Not sure what your definitiion of "easy" is. But if you mean maxed out proto commando, with lvl 5 in 4 seperate skills, and still not break 1000.. then yes you are correct. Anyone done the math if this thing can hold 3 complex mods (extenders/plates) and 2 proto weapons, with a decent pirce of equipment? Probalby should given the small number of slots and no grenade. CPU will be tight. Sorry you don't get an easy button and free respec to get an easy fit of the month again What you talkin bout willis? I am a heavy now, 10.5mil SP into it... and I already have all of those skills maxed. Was just saying that the word "easilyy" doesnt really fit, in fact I would have worded it like this "You can barely get to about 1000 HP with MILLIONS of skill points invested".
Blah... my first post was sarcastic. Thats it... all I said was it is not "easy" to get this Commando suit to 1000ehp. Then you said something about not getting an easy button. I am not complaining about anything lol... I am a pure heavy, I am looking forward to this suit, that is all. |

  0-1 High-Low @ Standard 1-2 High-Low @Advanced 2-3 High-Low @Prototype
Then you flip that for the Caldari version.
The slots are horribly low (in count), but that is because they don't want a heavy from from stacking too much health.
My other issue is the speed, it doesn't seem much faster then the regular heavy. fixed. How does removing an entire line about two racial suits 'fix' anything?
Because those slots were god aweful |

This needs to be brought back to the forefront of discussion until CCP tells us what the heck they were thinking.
"Hey guys, let's make a suit that sacrifices module slots and then give it a bonus for module efficiency."
Seriously, this makes no sense whatsoever. This has to change. |

What makes even less sense about the bonus is I thought the bonuses were supposed to give you a reason to level up even if you plan on using the lower end suits.
This racial bonus should of been the bonus for Sentinel. |

Running two proto weapons and a load of other kittens will make this suit VERY expensive.
It'll cost them so much to run full proto that when they die they'll think their as priviliged as tankers and need the weapon that killed them nerfed into the ground.
Anyway, near 1000 hp, whats that? One remote explosive you say? |
