You mouse/KB users have a clear advantage vs us console gamers. You can't aim as fast and precise with an analog stick as with a mouse. With a keyboard is easier to strafe and jump while shooting at the same time with the mouse.
This a CONSOLE game having mouse/KB support is a huge mistake. The majority of the new players are console gamers which get owned 1vs1 because they're using a DS3. The console and PC community will NEVER be able to unified because both controllers are entirely DIFFERENT.
Different in that one is clearly better at shooting things than the other. I'm actually glad your kind got nerfed with Uprising srsly. But I'm afraid your aiming will get fixed to being again PC pro vs console noob.

The only thing that separates "PC pros" from "Console noobs" is 20 bucks and 2 weeks of practice.
If you really believe it's superior, why not just use it yourself?
Even if they remove the crippling restrictions on keyboard and mouse, ultimately the balancing occurs in player choice: what control scheme do you want to use and what do YOU perform better with?
You want balanced? How about removing the aim assist for the DS3... |

Yo, check this out, it allows you to use kb/m in any PS3 game, it translates kb/m input into controller so it is transparent to the PS3 so it is not detectable. |

I don't use aim assist. In this game it is broken as well. It's not about what anyone would prefer, the m/kb is mathematically superior to any controller for FPS.

I use DS3 and have a decent kill death and good win/loss i agree in the respect that if they ever fully unleash kb/m it would be required to be viable but as of now i can hold my own. More of a tactical game then a ultra twitch shooter. |

I used to use it for BO2, I could go 40+ kills in a match like it was nothing. Its not nearly as good as true MKB support but you could eventually tune it so it was pretty decent. |

Calculate the time it takes to precisely aim and shoot with a kb/m with super high sensitivity. Substract it by the time it takes for a DS3 to tilt the analog till it gets to the position you want. Or a 180 turn point and shoot. It's very easy to compare both when sniping for example.

Why? Why are you guys defending the DS3 so bad? You know the kb/m has a obvious advantage here. Are you afraid they could remove your crutch? I know they won't do that. Just letting CCP know we're at a clear disadvantage. And even more because this game is related to a PC game, so the majority of the beta vets are PC gamers.

I'm a console gamer. I play on my couch that's in the living room with a 62" HDTV. It has no room for kb/m. It'll be highly uncomfortable, I can already feel the back pains.

Please stop defending the DS3 when you know it's crap for FPS. Similar as to DS3 is crap for fighting games vs an arcade joystick. It doesn't matter if some people are beast with a controller. It's like saying a corolla driver wins vs a camaro driver simply because the corolla driver is beast when clearly the camaro is superior in every way to a corolla.
