Yesterday I bought the Veteran pack on the PSN, from the ingame's market window.
I bought it thinking the Shotgun that came with the combo was on blueprint and not 50 units. Why I thought that? Because the info screen of the Veteran Pack DOESNT say it gives you 50 copies, it clearly says:
*Covenant Assault C-I
*Covenant Sniper Rifle
*HK4M Shotgun
*Fused Locus Grenade (x50)
*Hacked Drop Uplink (x50)
*1.5dn Myofibril Stimulant (x50)
etc
I bought it only because the permanent shotgun was implemented in the combo. And now I only have 50 copies of it.
This is false advertisement and I bought it following it.
I expect to get an answer and a solution to this problem asap.

you got yourself a typo, it is meant to say x50 of the HK4M, not BPO. you got what you should of then. |

Simple a typo, it sucks but with all that aurum you can buy as many of those shotguns as possible |

Edited: And no, I shouldn't need to spend the AUR I already bought on something I should have according to the info screen that leaded me to make a purchase.

Don't feel too bad about it though, buy a bunch of aurum shot guns, save up some Isk and get some isk shotguns |

Create a petition on dust514.com to see what they can do(they should be able to give you a refund or work something out).
Getting angry on the forums won't get you any attention from the devs that can help you. |

yea and going on a mad rage on the forum doesn't help, CCP won't fix it unless you send in a ticket, don't think you will get a BPO either as this is what it says on the main site

when it comes to dust 514 you do if it is off of PSN and the in-game market if it is not because thats just how CCP rolls and anything less is just gambling with money. and really you think you were going to get a BPO of a proto shotty... LOL no BPO on anything higher then standard. |

Hm... the typo is also on the Playstation Store itself, so this may be a problem with Sony rather than with CCP. |

it is a typo, no where on there does it say its a BPO or permanent so it is not misleading, its CCP marketing. |

The refund is the more likely scenario, they can't give you a BPO of that shotgun because a BPO of it doesn't exist. They'd have to create the item to give it to you.
From your screenshot, it's very easy to make the conclusion that the shotgun is a BPO.
In support of your case:
-The text doesn't actually list ALL the BPOs anyway, it just says 'and more'. So, it would be reasonable to think the other other non-numbered items were the BPOs.
-A typo is usually a misspelling or some transposed letters. You're missing multiple characters, and the shotgun is sitting with the other BPOs on the list.
Against your case:
-They may expect you to "know" that the Hk isn't a BPO shotgun.
-They may have some unrealistic expectation that you'd find every single place that set is listed and practice some sort of error-correction. (buyer beware of official sources)
At launch there was a separate issue. In two separate places (Dev blog, and website) they listed different items for the Mercenary Packs. In this case, they listed a "Covenant" Assault Rifle instead of dropsuit. Good times. |
