What's the hold up? The LAV spam that has been rolling for the past few weeks now has everybody speced into proto AV just like you wanted, now let us have the ridiculously expensive, tear farming death machines to make infantry obsolete as they should be. |

If the Surya and Sagarisa are anything to go off of, the Advanced and Prototype Tanks will likely just have barely more HP and an extra module in their secondary slot (IE, Highs for Armor, Lows for Shields).
Unless there is some drastic change in course, I don't see the Protoype or Advanced Tanks being much better than the normal ones. This is simply because people will cry foul because a Prototype Tank stole their lunch money. Thus, Advanced Tanks will not be balanced against Advanced AV (in my opinion).
I just want my 20% PG back :( |

its not even balanced now, and have you seen the "nerf jets!!" threads? they aren't even in the game and yet people are already crying nerf..... my god |

I'd wait to see what these new pilot suits give tankers before asking for these tanks back. We have no idea what pilot suits will do atm. They might give us better resists, module cooldowns, speed... Something that would be enough of a boost to serious tankers to make us competitive again.
Besides, if we got adv and proto tanks, wouldn't the murder taxi drivers want adv and proto vehicles too? No one wants that :v |

I'm really hoping the pilot suits help out, but extra slots/PG would be great as well, in the meantime I'll just bust out my LAV when I need to make some quick cash. |

Proto AV? Hah! I'm spec'd into Proto, but I usually don't bother running around with anything higher than my standard BPO Swarm anymore.
There's almost no reason. It's once in a blue moon that I actually see a real tank, and not something that dies or runs in 2-3 hits. Even the immortal LLAVs have become rarer. And the majority of LAVs I do see running around are 2 shot pi+Ķatas as well.

I think it is funny. Vehicle (LAV) spam from your fellow vehicle brethren has created a lash back of massive AV. Its not sad. |
