Let me give you an example, an EVE player asks a question in local
I happen to know the answer so I tell him
He freaks his **** saying he knew the answer the entire time and goes on to insult me, my family, hell even my pet because "It was obvious I knew the answer and you have ADD because you own a console and I am superior by default"
They get their weird idea that because they put up with a bad interface it makes them more intelligent than others and think that because a bunch of idiots together fall for obvious plots they must be ******* Machiavelli |

Yes.
They are idiots and horrible FPS players as well.
For some reason they really hate CoD and think bunny hopping and running around in the open makes Dust more strategic and tactical then CoD.
They are really into RPG leveling systems as well. In their minds filling out check boxes takes epic mental prowess...also they think RPG leveling systems magically makes a game an MMO...even though 1000s of single player games have RPG leveling systems. Wizardry, Ultima and Bards Tale in their universe is a blind spot which they may never look...and therefor never existed.
Inversely MMOs without RPG leveling systems do not exist in their universe either. |

Ive GG a few people I felt did well in games and they send me back **** like "meeeeeh Ive got 4000 tanks anyway" which is lol considering how bad they drive them and how much they cost and stuff like "meeeeeh come attack our district for your gg bro" lol. Game is full of bellends. |

Most Dusties trying out Eve I know have upgraded their trail accounts to perma accounts and they love it. If you have a decent pc try it..

Im a pretty normal guy ....although I suck at FPS ...if it wasn't for my sp I would be face down all the time ...

Hey, you spend every waking moment enclosed in an egg and you'll have some loose screws too.
I will say the community for dust/eve tends to be pretty awesome compared to most, you do have to remember backstabbing and scamming are game mechanics, but my corp mates are pretty awesome. Met many a cool player in my many years of off and on again eve. It has become a bit entitled/hostile in the forums here of late, but my day to day squads are nice. |

A ton of EVE players think that CCP's time was wasted developing Dust, but the fact of the matter is CCP hired on an entire separate studio to develop the game, so if Dust wasn't going to be a thing, nothing would be different.
My EVE players (in Tso's) are buttmad because I play Dust instead of hold their hand and generate content for them nonstop, so they act like the older child whose family just had a new baby and the parents aren't paying as much attention to them, so they take it out on the baby. |

the ones that police local chat are total loosers (PvE). all dust local chats are in a high sec EVE sector, where they think it's safe. they've been bullied to death by real EVE players. these "carebears" are seeking to transfer the oppression so they do that by trying to police local chat and bully dust players. |

So by violating my moral code i can succeed? Do i have to also treat people like crap to be good? Is there no other way? What about learning the ropes? How do i get "in"? Is it all Douchy from day one? do people thrive off ruining other players gaming experience from the get go, like dust folks?
