The need for this in a game where you have to spend months for each item seems obvious. CCP has no need to do this, but it would be the right thing to do. Saying there will never be another respec is boxing themselves in, especially when the player count is an insignificant fraction of what they intended and expected. Try militia or aur items, its what its for. I was unaware that militia items operated like prototype items at max skill levels. Wow, I'm so happy you showed me the way. Either give us a way to test builds before we build them, or give us something to do in game.
You wanted try before you buy? You expect to have full power for nothing apparently, ccp gave anyone who applied for a respec a respec. I'd kill for a respec on eve, be grateful you have for you get in opportunities to things. |

True, but that's any gaming forum ever :/
Ever visited the Starcraft 2 forums? I haven't in a few years, but damn, it's almost as bad as these forums sometimes, and definitely much more hostile. |

When a fit can cost you 10M SP, knowing the 4 months in advance it takes to get there that is what you want, will make you more likely to purchase aur advantages to get there sooner, or just play more often so server populations aren't so low. Or you guys could just take your cry to some other game. I and many others are happy with the system. You people keep saying this, and reasonable people keep taking your advice. I'm not sure you want everyone who thinks the game is currently awful to just straight up leave, I fear you'd be left on a server with a few dozen other people. Sure do wish people would read more than the post they respond to. I would rather the servers empty than it to be corrupted into the whiners version, where the TAC is unnerfed and we get 2 respecs a day and all the uniqueness is watered down because its "not like all the other lobby fps" |

So what do you in EVE, shoot reds all day?
A VR room would merely let you test out the equipment and different builds before you invested SP into a build that might not work as intended, or might not be as fun as you initially thought.
After all, you're stuck with your decision. You don't get to pick up a different weapon, or spawn in a new loadout, unless you've gone through the grind to make that one of your options. Of course you can go omni and be "versatile", but you'll be laughed at by anyone with a reasonable build in game.
This game either needs occasional respecs, a way to test builds before building them, or actual MMO aspects that don't involve player A shooting player B all day every day in the same two game modes plus their variations. |

It's already exactly like all the other lobby fps, except full of frame rate problems and lag, bad shooting mechanics, terrible mechanics, and a pointless grind. People whine and complain because the reality is so insanely far off from the game CCP claim to be making. It's almost as if the developers exist in some alternative reality in which Dust is something other than an extremely shallow lobby FPS.
When the servers empty, what point with CCP have to continue developing? |

The VR should double as a test server (or rather, the other way round) and connect to SISI instead of TQ; not only can you test your stuff, but CCP can also use it as a valuable feedback to test patches in a live environment before hitting the main game.
It'd be built right into the welcome screen, and we should finally be given a "log out" button. |

They said that they'll be introducing testing labs and stuff like that down the road for us to well...... test things in. So there you go. |
