Thanks, didn't see your post, but this topic is more about the effects that negative attitudes have on the game. Yours simply encourages people to stop complaining and pay the game. Not really a copy at all. |

Sorry if we aren't blinded by hope
Constructive feedback is good though, even if it's dripping with negativity |

What do you think new players will do when the current player base only talks crap about it. Let alone the people who haven't even played yet. They will leave or not even bother trying.
I know this game has some issues and I want some things fixed, but I'm not about to go declaring That this game sucks to the whole world. I love this game.
There are ways to express your grievances and concerns without degrading the name of the game or the company that makes it. If you are worried about the life of this game, Stop talking crap and start encouraging new players and supporting CPP.
The biggest way to kill a product is when the dedicated players say it sucks, instead of taking about what they love and why people should play. Grow Up. Negative talk spreads like a virus.

The number one question i have is what was the beta for? Why did CCP release this underachieving build. Why have CCP been so quiet? Why don't the mods close or move troll threads?
To the OP i agree but i just think a lot of the folks who post negative threads are fed up with CCP. I'm here for the long haul the way the game is set up due to weekly caps, i play other games to calm my frustration with Dust. |

I believe the current type of criticism works fine. Ever read movie, book, or game critiques? They aren't nice, it helps developers understand the true scope of what is at stake.
I will agree that we should comment on what we like more often, to ensure that CCP doesn't attemp to fix what we like. |

The majority of the player base was very positive... for about a year.
A year later the game hasn't really progressed, and by many estimations is worse than when it started.
I'm done giving positive criticism. If CCP pulls off a miracle and turns it around, leading to a game that isn't absolutely terrible, then awesome. Frankly though, I'm no longer convinced they have the ability to do so.
Encouraging new players to try this game in it's current state will do nothing but lead to even fewer people willing to give it a try later on, on the off chance they CCP eventually makes something worth playing. |

Unfortunately, constructive criticism = weakness. I prefer creative criticism.
What's a constructive way to tell the devs their game which is supposed to be fun is actually a grey gelatinous pile of unsatisfying tasteless goo?
I mean it looks so good on the box but no matter how closely I follow the recipe it still tastes like nothing. I seems like it had the potential to be delicious but it's half-baked.
I'm really having a hard time finding something that this game does really well other than underwhelm. |
