I don't get why everybody seems so worried that this game will die, and then just go and talk crap about it all day.
What do you think new players will do when the current player base only talks crap about it. Let alone the people who haven't even played yet. They will leave or not even bother trying.
I know this game has some issues and I want some things fixed, but I'm not about to go declaring That this game sucks to the whole world. I love this game.
There are ways to express your grievances and concerns without degrading the name of the game or the company that makes it. If you are worried about the life of this game, Stop talking crap and start encouraging new players and supporting CPP.
The biggest way to kill a product is when the users talk it down. Grow Up. Negative talk spreads like a virus. |

Yeah but why do we always have to compare? We know it's not an a-list blockbuster. It's a free to play FPS that offers a fun experience. Do you really not enjoy playing this game? Or do you just not like losing?
Just because it isn't a tier one game and compare with games like battlefields doesn't mean it can't be fun. Your right, this game isn't on the same level as those other games, but I don't expect it to be. It's a lower level FPS But what's wrong with that. It's silly to compare this game to other games out of its league.
Have played lots of FPS's and ones "better" than this one, and honestly I have more fun playing this one. I support this game because I want it to keep playing it, and others to as well. btw IV only bought the merc pack, and have only been playing for 2 months. 1 month before uprising, 1 month after.

Ever check out the feedback/suggestion section?
It's full of constructive criticism and it may as well be the place where hopes and dreams go to be ignored and die.
Yes I have. There is good stuff in there but mostly QQ. This post is not meant for you and those other good people. |

This isn't about it not being an "a-list blockbuster". This is about the game failing at many of the utter basics that should determine if a game even goes public. Basic control glitches, mechanics glitches, terrain glitches, equipment glitches... You may be having fun but imagine how much fun you would be having if CCP didn't seemingly decide to cut corners by throwing this game to their C team that never developed a game before let alone ever played an FPS.
Alright, that's fair. We could still encourage them to fix these issues without griefing them. Having been a developer before (nothing big) I can say nothing kills enthusiasm for improvement than haters.
I'm all for pointing out issues and helping the Dev team pinpoint troubled areas. Granted these kinds of issues need to be addressed, but I have confidence that CPP will do this, and I wish them in their efforts. I look forward to the fun I will have in the coming months and all new updates.

@ the last few posts.
Think your arguments are good. And I would like to see CPP make some changes. I do want to clarify that im not suggesting ignoring the problems, but maintaining positive outlooks. My main point is about not spreading negative attitudes. You do make good points about the % of people on the forums, but I still believe that even amidst ourselves it is still important, and also regarding keeping up moral among the devs. I do understand that patience runs thin at some point.
The well thought out arguments like yours are not what concern me, it's the constant immature QQ comments and posts about how dust is dead and not going to last the year. |

Thanks, didn't see your post, but this topic is more about the effects that negative attitudes have on the game. Yours simply encourages people to stop complaining and pay the game. Not really a copy at all. |
