if more then 40 clones have died for either side I never want to join that game, EVER.
I don't care if the team is winning, I don't care if they;re losing I don't care about what the state of the game is, It's a waste of my time.
at they very least give me the option to only join games in the waiting room |

all io've managed to pull today has been games where the team i get stuck on has already been tank rolled and theirs about 20 clones left, i'll spawn in for something to do, get ambush killed, and get 20k isk at the end of the match for my trouble.

little things like these are really starting to eat at me, the game is in such a **** poor state, and nothing is getting done, no word about anything getting done, and nothing left to hope for =/ |

Even more fun when you sit looking at the loading screen for two minutes, then it finishes loading and you are treated to a lovely screen saying defeat as your first view of the battle oh joy I do so love these situations. |

Mechanically I understand the need to have the option to insert new people into matches already in progress, and an option to remove that ability for a player would cause more and more matches to be unbalanced. (Although if there were leaders the match probably wasn't going in their favor anyways).
Personally, joining a match where we are redlined already is quite... unenjoyable. Instead of just turning it off however, I think a better solution would be some sort of incentive to do something or stay in the match after being a late join after X time. Perhaps a flat WP incentive, or perhaps a WP multiplier (up to a cap) to encourage activity. These solutions would at least help to alleviate the pain of joining a match, losing, then getting enough ISK for a taxi ride home. |

Forcing people into this situation is not good either, if the battle is bad people afk or just quit out, they don't miraculously save the losing team.

Put in a deserter penalty as well while you're at it.

I agree that when there's less than three-five minutes or so left you shouldn't be thrown into a game. However, coming into a game in progress (generally a stomping) and turning it around is something my squads love to do. = D |

A menu much like the current FW one would help a lot.
A list of games which shows ones in progress, and ones waiting to start.
Ones in progress only show if there is spaces on a squad. Maybe a timer to show how long its been going for so we don't waste our time.
This is why I play FW battles 99% of the time. The instant battles are a major pain in the rear for this reason. |

Entered many matches where it was at the cusp of ending, quite like 1 to 0 kills on ambush, or even 3 bars of MCC Armor left on the team I joined. Waste of my time. |

late joins are needed for player balance, as people sometimes leave. What is needed is an ISK multiplier for late joins. The problem with late joins is often if you lose clones, you do not make enough money from the short time to make up for the losses. |
