I was told by the person who nominated me for this event that we would at least have some militia gear to put on fitting at start. Not even that, 2,000,001 sp and the shittiest suits and a couple of weapons. It is about as gay as you whining tryhards that are crying like babies to be a "Templar". How about one less Templar on the field for you to slaughter and maybe the reward will be harder for you babies to kill. WHA WHA WHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

They should have maxed out the SP and jacked up the stats on them to make killing them interesting.

They also should have all been seeded into their own corp and restricted from participation in PC, unless they felt like making a special PC event around taking their territory, which would have been kind of cool.

You will be one of the few players in the game who can say they were a Templar in this event. Look at the thread thousands wanted to be but we are the ones chosen.

The suits are ok but the real reward is being selected. Maybe I will qualify for the reward and maybe not but kdr is meaningless when this toon will be deleted on Tuesday.

If you keep on playing you will be able to create a decent glass cannon build with a ADV weapon or better and damage mods. Not sure how good as I have only played 4-5 matches so far.

I could care less about KDR and regarless this character will be gone in a few days. I can only get so much skill points in 4 days with cap and up against all these cry babies with 10Mill + skill points who think that Standard suits are fine..... Sure they are fine if you have extra CPU & PG to work with IE Bonus from spending 10Mill + skill points not to mention the extra armor and Shields and damage %'s.....

Playing as a Templar would be incredibly fun. As I said in other threads Im essentially abandoning a 7m SP toon simply because he doesn't have the amarr assault suit avatar.... 2m SP is still better than my 700k.

I was happy to be picked and still am. I understood the event and know that I will be hunted. I also knew we would have very limited SP given to us, so I chose to spend it wisely.

Fighting proto tier fits with standard gear? I don't see how this is a problem unless you are used to using proto gear as a crutch.

I hate sounding like a **** but have you considered you just arent a decent player if you keep getting stomped?
Ive set up fits using only militia and standard gear and gone 8 and 0 in matches and no I was sniping or hiding in a tank or LAV

I know they get deleted but the only reason they are doing this is to test drive out the new Templar gear. Why give players more SP to spec into guns and such that CCP doesn't want to test or more importantly guns that don't define the purpose and role of the Templars in the event.
