Okay, so I think I want to make a logistics build. I unlocked Minmatar medium suits because it's cheap SP-wise, but getting to lv 3 is expensive. I was also considering getting repair tool lv3. I have about 150k unallocated SP and it brought this question to mind.
Should I focus first on getting the suit I need or in getting the tools for my job. Say I'm going to employ nanohives, repair tool, and uplinks when I get my logi suit. Should I go suit->tools or something like repair tool->suit->nanohives/uplinks so that I can do some decent repair, earn those WP and perhaps get the suit a little faster? |

Survival first.
Get those shields extenders maxed out or Enhanced level at the very least and maybe throw in a basic armor plate.
After that you should be ok to dump sp into equipment... try not to go too overboard with spending sp on equipment for now tho, you'll need to get that logistics suit ASAP if you aspire to be a support role. |

with a logi build i will say go suit first you need that equipment slot. from there you slowly move your equipment out of standard/militia. after you get your suit I would upgrade your repair tool/nanohive/uplinks to lvl 1 to get standard. Then upgrade droplink to 2 this lets you use the stable version which is easier to fit cpu/pg wise. After that upgrade as needed. You will have the tools to do the job at this point. |

In the previous build my answer would have been core (defence) skills, suit and then equipment. In the new build I would say balance between core skills and suit. You need to be able to survive close to or even on the front lines. So just use militia equipment until you have a strong defence and a reasonable offence.
No point having fancy equipment if you die before you can use it. |

Get Basic logi suits first. Then get basic modules/fiting skills for them. THEN work on Complex Extenders, Enhanced regulators/Enhanced Recharger or/and Complex Armor Plates , Complex Repairer. Then do complex equipment slots moudles( maybe just two of the three ).Then work on fitting skills to fit an advanced suit with fore mentioned moduels and finally get the advanced suit. After that work on more fitting skills for proto then get proto. |

There's couple of fitting tools floating around the forums also which you can use to calculate how you should invest your SP.

As has been said focus on suits then Extenders/plates and core skills (namely those that give pg/cpu bonus or Max shield etc). Weapons are also in the mix probably right before core skills. Equipment could arguably take the place of weapons if you prefer supporting teammates.
Don't go crazy though and go straight to proto suits or anything really and leave the other areas behind. It's bad sp for your buck. |

Thanks. I had seen that read before, but I did not realize it had some base set ups. Just got my Minmatar Logi suit following re-spec. Ready to be a force multiplier! |
