I wouldn't put it past CCP. They may make some questionable design decisions at times, but when you watch them at conferences and in various videos it's clear they are all about gaming as a passion and service. They've done some pretty crazy stuff before, like sending the names of all the EVE players into space, and I understand they are trying to get an EVE statue up in Iceland that would stand for hundreds of years with players' names on it. I can easily see something like full size wearable model of one of the dropsuits if enough people pushed CCP for one. |

If I was an engineer I might, but I'm just a lowly repo man, lol. I know nothing of modelling or manufacturing outside of rc planes and helis 
However, if there are some programs out there I could get started on, I would love the feedback. Gen Con will be here in Indiana before I know it lol Would love to have a Gallente Medium, but the Caldari seems to be the simplest design. Any suggestions? |

All they really need to do to ease the process is simply release specifications for parts. They've had a couple vids with a guy in Dust armour, so they have some idea of how to break it down into wearable parts, and obviously they have the model data itself. If they release that information for public use in the same way that pre-Disney LucasFilm didn't go after Star Wars cosplayers, we can get some damn high-quality stuff made with vacuum tables, just like the Star Wars side (most of those fan-made costumes are actually higher-quality than the ones used in the films). |

This is an awesome Idea. And CCP being the way they are, they help the gamers delve into New Eden. They have helped many players in the past with stories, lore, videos, and even 3rd party applications. I'm sure that if we can bring this to their attention with enough support, they would lets us have the specs for atleast the Caldari. It seems the simplest to make with all the smooth edges. I wonder if we could even get 3D Printer support.... hmm.. |

Not sure if this is derroagatory or not, but it seems so. Not only would releasing the specs be something simple that CCP could do, it wouldn't hinder game development in the least. And if CCP tried doing it themselves, they would outsource the work, just like they do all the gear, novelties, and ship models. So even if they took it on as a project, it in no way would it halt game development. And selling it on the eve store (Like the other stuff they make and sell) it would mean more income to further development.
So i see no sense in this comment. |

CCP should sell dust dropsuit masks! Just come cheap plastic ones will do for people going to fanfest and other places.
Hell CCP why not make some sticker packs to promote dust, I will plaster them around my local towns and cities? :) |
