(Altho I'm not certain IF biomassing procedure completes, since the Hours for PLEX only lasts few hours and biomassing takes longer.)
IF that works then after that biomassing timer has ticked you can use that same name on DUST, but so can any one else.
Or you coud just perition from your EVE char and hope for the best. Biomassing a character doesn't clear them from the namespace. They are put in an invisible corp named Doomheim.
But you can still use their name. Characters in that corp have a special exception and, I'm assuming, just get renamed to "Caldari Citizen 12345678" when that happens. They get moved instead of outright deleted to make it simpler for a GM to hit the 'Undo' button. |

Should I purchase the Steam version to do that Biomass thing? (never heard about that...)
Buying the Steam version will create a new account. You can not use it to reactivate an old account. |

Oh god... I wanted really to have it in my steam list... Can't I purchase it and log in with my old account? Paying a new Subscription for it?
The client is free no matter how you get it, and isn't bound to any account. Buying it through Steam is just another way to pay for an account activation.
If you must have the client as a SteamApp just download the Demo version and log in as normal (ignore the new account trial key you get). I don't like this because it buries the install inside the Steam installation directory which makes managing the test server install for Sisi annoying. |
