A little surprised the normal poo flinging hasn't gone full swing yet in here. A good chunk of hate is generally reserved for people who are in contention or their very presence because the way of thinking threatens someone else's play style. So just living the life shouldn't be a problem (I got away with it on Eve Online for years with only a few challenges), preaching is another case.
