that could be said of many things. baseball consumes some peoples lives, but does not make baseball evil. tv consumes some peoples lives,but that does not make tv inherently evil. alcohol consumes some peoples lives, but that doesn't make beer evil.
all things in moderation. just because some (or even many) overdo it doesn't make it evil. just a an alcoholic must avoid drinking someone prone to allowing a game to consume their lives must avoid them.but still doesn't make it evil.

Eve Online is not a morals-friendly universe so the blasphemous comment was a good chuckle. A little surprised the normal poo flinging hasn't gone full swing yet in here.
A good chunk of hate is generally reserved for people who are in contention or their very presence because the way of thinking threatens someone else's play style. So just living the life shouldn't be a problem (I got away with it on Eve Online for years with only a few challenges), preaching is another case. |

The only thing I find suspicious about this game is that almost every HAV is named after a pagan god, and the violence......Since the fall of Man there will always be violence until the coming of the Lord. I would suggest not to get addicted to video games because it consumes a lot of time, everything we do in our life something needs to be consumed; working consumes time and energy, studying consumes time and energy, everything consumes time and energy BUT we need to make sure to have reserved time and energy to give to God, To everything there is a season, time for every purpose under heaven ( Ecclesiastes 3:1 ) |
