Landing to see if some guys wanted a pickup.
One of them was calling in a LAV. The RDV drops it RIGHT next to me. Instant death, hovering mere inches above my head. Deciding if it wanted to pop my DS with the lightest of touches. My DS is actively trying to tunnel deeper into the ground to get away.
Finally, it lifts off and fades away.
I feel like I should not be alive. Sad considering they are on my own team. |

This is a common misconception. The RDVs are NOT on your team.
They are the true mercenaries. |

I to recently had a near death experience in a DS thankfully I jumped out in time to save my clone landed on the floor thought Yeah I survived woo! Dropship lands I survive (just.) and up pops Viper destruction -75wp, it seems you are ment to go down with your ship. |

Is it just me or does the game ignore your mashed Circle to jump out if you are the pilot?
It seems lately that it demands I die. |

Maybe you mash circle so quick you jump back in again? On a serious note does the whole losing wp for crashing happen often? |

I only recall getting that if someone dies in my ship, though it could be another stealth nerf for all I know.
What I AM sure of is that piloting is a complete waste of SP and ISK that should be indulged in only after maxing out your main class. |

But then why bother when you could spend it in something else useful, lucrative, and fun?
Like the new SUPER LAVS
or another weapon or class?
What's the point of such an ignored, nerfed, useless, expensive, broken, bugged, and *$&* on role? |

So, me and my sniper rifle are all cozy watching the action down below when I hear something. I pull back from the scope to see that a fellow blue has called in a LAV for podracing practice or something and think nothing more of it. I look back through the scope to check on an objective and hear that ship getting louder. I pull back from the scope just in time to see Maverick flying dangerously low to the ground... and me.
Next thing I know, I'm bleeding out because the damned "friendly" deployment ship decapitates me as it buzzes the rocks and soars off into the sunset. |

I agree, and that's why I am playing Death Race 514 until I respec out of dropships.
I can make money, and the killing is SO much more personal and fun when I use the grill of my LAV.
In fact it's getting addicting. |
