Wouldn't it be a great if we could play 5-10 PC battles a week and be able to cap out on SP? How do you feel about this? I believe this would help veteran players who are drained of this game. I also believe this would help limit the number of core players who are forced to play pubs, thus helping the newer players have a little more room to breath in pubs.

So it takes around 25 or so matches to cap out currently but you want to be done in 5? If any of the vets are drained from this game then they should take a break. But pulling them away from every small bit of SP is just as hard as tearing them away from the all proto all the time mentality. |

its not just about how long it takes to grind away. its about having to go through sooooooo many bugs that cause dumb deaths and the playerbase being such trash that some of us would rather spend our time playing with our corp and people who we trust. |

I'm not entirely opposed to giving PC more skill points, but not so much that you can be finished in 5-10 matches.
Also to the guy who was capped out going into the PC match yesterday . . . how? That's not even 2 days into the SP week . . . perhaps you should spread out your game time a bit |

FW is the same as pubs, sure you can q-sync but its a hassle trying to get both your squads in on the same team. plus it takes longer to start a match of FW let alone it being a redline almost every time. PC gives us something to fight for and even if we were to redline the other team we still feel more excited about it because we are actually fighting over terf. |

I've been getting 5-20k SP without a Booster from my PC Battles, I don't feel there needs to be a rise as players will still play pubs, it's not that we don't have incentives to play but there isn't any PC battles going all the time everyday. Also Pubs are still fun to run people over in, so yes you're still gonna have us in pubs anyways. |

PC, sp reward and Isk are fine bro. And please don't take offense by my next comment io finishes PC battles in 15-25 min so ur saying we should get a weeks worth of sp for 1hr-2hrs of paying I can't help but disagree.
Now your point I can agree with. Now not to sound arrogant, but I consider myself in the running for top killers in dust and i've only been able to play two pub games since PC started. Also note I'm a corp leader so planning is part of that reason now.
What I would say if there was a way to make the sp u got from doing PC was uncapped that is the best road to travel. It would also cover skills costing so much more. And it would encourage more people to get out of pubs and into PC if nothing else to grind sp. that's my opinion I would like community feedback I think it's a solid idea with limited room to exploit with maximum room to encourage PC and more fights.

Sure why not...your SP already carries you in pub matches and gives you more SP because you have more SP then players who are better then you only they have less GOD mode SP so cannot compete.
Why not pour on more SP when you play in PC where people with less SP can't compete either. That is a fuking great idea. |

If the PC matches are really outside of the weekly cap, that sounds like it is perfectly fine to me. Run ambush/skirmish/domination for a day or two and cap SP, then defend your districts and attack others until the next reset. That would seem like an EVE: working as intended case to me. |

read my edited link, my idea does not reward more sp on top of what we would get from just playing pubs. it allows us to reach our cap faster and after that we receive the normal 1000-1500 sp, even if playing another PC battle |

PC gives your corps big money, big money to get you into another territorial rush, free proto's or freebie tanks provided by your corps, why would this also pad your skills. When things like Faction Warfare (which is a money maker in Eve) has no benefits yet, why should PC offer not only great payouts for the winner and an SP boost?
If we were talking about a game that was more fleshed out for all play styles (Drone NPC Missions for the carebears much like mining for Eve carebears, Faction Warfare with actual meaning and rewards for the middle ground aswell as pub matches, and PC for the "null sec l337" players) then perhaps. But right now, with so few districts and such a high monetary hurdle to overcome to even get into PC, throwing on a SP hurdle will only hurt your game, actually all of our games, in the long run. no im not talking about PC giving us increased SP gain on top of what we already get. what i mean is this......as soon as the reset happens on wednesday, if a play 6-10 PC battles during that week then i should be able to cap out on sp. this only means that i would cap out very early. once i cap out then every other battle should reward the normal 1000-1500 sp
And I understand that, but it will still be an unfair skill progression for those with versus those without. I know you, you are a good player, but I will assume that as things are now you usually cap out about Saturday or Sunday right? Two days of 1k-1.5k SP, and yes I know this sucks as you feel like you are doing sod all for two days or so, but we all run into this issue to some degree, but if PC allows you to cap out earlier you are not only getting your SP cap, but increasing the time you have to grind out the 1k-1.5k SP, thus multiplying how much SP you can get versus what those without can. |

you have no idea on how burnt out some of us are of this game. also, even if it gave us more time to grind (which i doubt many people will still be grinding away) getting 1000-1500 sp a match won't get us anywhere |

Over time it will. I do feel for your plight man, you as I have said are a good player among good players and I understand that it must get tedious, but 1.5k x 3 matches a day x 4 days x 4 weeks ect ect... it does become a hurdle that other newer players cant begin to touch. |

What if simply holding a District gave you a x.5 Active SP boost, not to be stacked, that drops at Cap (ie SVER would not get X4.0 boost, only the first district counts). It gets you about the same effect I suppose and in theory still gets you close to what you want without making life suck for all the players that dont have districts? |

no that would actually make it worse for those without districts, my idea allows even smaller corps to attack others and still gain alot of sp without needing to hold a district. if you attack and win, you receive max sp (30-40k) and if you lose you still receive more than a reg skirmish game |
