This is from the other thread you have going but ill put it here to.

PC gives your corps big money, big money to get you into another territorial rush, free proto's or freebie tanks provided by your corps, why would this also pad your skills. When things like Faction Warfare (which is a money maker in Eve) has no benefits yet, why should PC offer not only great payouts for the winner and an SP boost?
If we were talking about a game that was more fleshed out for all play styles (Drone NPC Missions for the carebears much like mining for Eve carebears, Faction Warfare with actual meaning and rewards for the middle ground aswell as pub matches, and PC for the "null sec l337" players) then perhaps. But right now, with so few districts and such a high monetary hurdle to overcome to even get into PC, throwing on a SP hurdle will only hurt your game, actually all of our games, in the long run. no im not talking about PC giving us increased SP gain on top of what we already get. what i mean is this......as soon as the reset happens on wednesday, if a play 6-10 PC battles during that week then i should be able to cap out on sp. this only means that i would cap out very early. once i cap out then every other battle should reward the normal 1000-1500 sp
And I understand that, but it will still be an unfair skill progression for those with versus those without. I know you, you are a good player, but I will assume that as things are now you usually cap out about Saturday or Sunday right? Two days of 1k-1.5k SP, and yes I know this sucks as you feel like you are doing sod all for two days or so, but we all run into this issue to some degree, but if PC allows you to cap out earlier you are not only getting your SP cap, but increasing the time you have to grind out the 1k-1.5k SP, thus multiplying how much SP you can get versus what those without can. |

Over time it will. I do feel for your plight man, you as I have said are a good player among good players and I understand that it must get tedious, but 1.5k x 3 matches a day x 4 days x 4 weeks ect ect... it does become a hurdle that other newer players cant begin to touch. |

GoD-NoVa wrote:ok so what if they made it so it would take upwards say 9-15 PC battles a week to cap out. dont think every one will be playing 5 matches a day anyway, some people will have to sub out and sub in
edit: 72,000 sp from over 4 weeks is nothing
What if simply holding a District gave you a x.5 Active SP boost, not to be stacked, that drops at Cap (ie SVER would not get X4.0 boost, only the first district counts). It gets you about the same effect I suppose and in theory still gets you close to what you want without making life suck for all the players that dont have districts? |

The biggest issue I run into with your idea, and yes I will say that what you just said I could get on board with if not for this issue, is the hurdle of even launching an attack. Either way the holder wins big, they get the new (or old if they are the previous holder) SP tier plus the payout for being a holder, but the loser, especially if they are not the holder, loses big. Yes they get the one shot SP tier boost, but they lose 80 million, and their clones.
If you were to say the above plus reduce the monetary buy in that would be better imo, like 30 million.
Edit: BTW I have been playing since BETA before it became open even to all Eve players so I understand the concept of getting burnt out, so I am not being combative from a QQ stand point but concern of wanting to be playing this game with new faces so to speak in three years instead of the old bitter vets. |

It costs 80 million ISK for a starter clone pack and thus if a newer corp wants to launch an attack, they must overcome this hurdle before overcoming you is my point. |
