remove the redline and put a **** load of turrets around each teams mcc and ground spawn i believe there was a map that used to have this thoughts? |

Just having a line of turrets isn't really a good enough defense. Doesn't ever take more three swarm volleys to take down a turret. All you'd do is give the enemy extra war points. |

We could just you know... keep the spawn points inside that battlezone and make a zone where you can't earn points or rewards if you stay or shoot from it. |

Indestructible turrets would be necessary, combined with some incentive for players not to purposely redline themselves for the purpose of padding their KDR.
Think about that: Step 1: Sit in indestructible turret. Step 2: Let team lose horribly. Step 3: Kill what you can from safety.
Oh wait, did I just accidentally describe those tank guys who sit at the back of the map using railguns...?
Anyway, without indestructible turrets, it's pretty much what the other guys said -- free WP for the other team. In fact, it practically incentivizes rushing the redline and spawn camping just for those free points.
But what the heck is the purpose of pointing out flaws without solutions? Hmm.. Well first of all, what is the problem again? If you think the problem is that the redline exists, then I'll have to disagree. A safe zone where players can spawn, set up gear, group up, and call in vehicles safety is necessary to support the team-oriented nature of this game. So while I would have liked to have helped you find a solution, I've concluded that there isn't really a problem to fix. |

Redline exists to stop stationary MCCs from being camped. I imagine once they can fly around redlines will be gone forever? |

I was so pissed the first time i drove an LAV in there to take it.
*derpy derp me drives along going for D...glances at map and notices it is covered in red hash.
"WTF?!?!"
*flips the LAV, then tries to run out but dies 2 meters inside the redline.
In retrospect i think it is kind of fun...stupid or not it should stay. |

I like the idea of alternating spawns when a team is being redlines. Some other games have this and it seems to work decently well. |

Oh I used to do that in the last build - run to hack the enemy CRU when they were redlined so their only spawn was the MCC. That is one thing though, and a major objective used to win the match (as opposed to a secondary one that is optional to take) is inaccessible is really silly. |

This actually gave me the idea of a new PvE mode where you have to create a protective area on a planet with a hostile atmosphere, so you're running back and forth from your ship trying to build your shelter within a "red" zone that gradually depletes your health until you finish your shelter. Pretty much colonizing a planet with poisonous atmosphere and all that |

The first time I saw two reds sprinting into the redline I thought it was genius. |

Full BPO suit + hack, or full BPO suit + kill as many unsuspecting as possible is a pastime of mine. I just don't it being needed to accomplish a mandatory objective - optional is fine. |
