The problem isn't just forge guns (which out damage large rail guns) but that dropships are crap at the moment.
1 - 2 shots from a tank and you're a fireball. Giant floating target. If they were physically smaller, they'd be harder to hit. Right now they're larger then a tank. |

Free rail gun installations are the most rage inducing thing is a pilot. Best AV weapon in the game, deep in the enemies redline, easily operated with deadly efficiency.
As if rails on tanks weren't bad enough |
