I know there are lot's of threads out there complaining about this but I think they are saying the aim is the issue. I realized that the aim is fine, the real problem is a frame rate issue. If the enemy is moving toward you or away from you in a straight line or sitting still you can aim directly onto them and score legit shots on the enemy. However IF the enemy is moving left to right rather they are strafing, jumping, or sprinting. You have to lead the enemy in the direction they are moving. I believe that is somewhat proof that the game just needs a little image refocusing. IMO basically what is happening is the game is moving faster than we can see. What is happening in the game is things are happening faster and due to frame rate issues we see them half a second to maybe even a full second late.
I am a controller player who currently uses 50-60 sensitivity. Not sure if there is any more information you need to try to zero in on this and have this fixed immediately. I have faith that you guys can zero in on this problem and fix it with haste. Don't let me down!

I agree with Xero. And this is the biggest plaguing this game right now. It's the reason I barely play it ATM.
With strafing targets you need to lead your aim to hit them. If you place / trace the aiming reticle on the target you miss.
I don't come to forum too much, but if not already done, I'd love to see CCP acknowledge this.

Bumping the thread to increase the chances of CCP being able to read this. Will not stop till some acknowledgement is shown. I have trouble shooting targets all the time. |

Why don't we just kill the strafing it caused lag and hit detection issues in the past (the only reason it works at all) then they nerfed it and it helped so lets get rid of it entirely which would solve a host of issues |

How can ya possibly get rid of it tho? This is not CivilWar514. Trying to get players to line up and sit still while reloading their muskets and shooting at each other. I just don't see that working either. Let's just ask for frame rate fix for now than we can go onto the musket gun no strafe thing. |

It's ruining the game. I know of four players who have deleted the game off their PS3, primarily because of this issue.
Seriously, what's the point in playing a FPS if you can't hit a moving target?
I'm shocked this thread doesn't have countless people supporting it.

I agree with this. Quite often I will be shooting a target @ 10m - 15m with my HMG; then the target begins strafing side to side passing through my HMG fire continuously, but taking absolutely no damage in the process.

Everybody knows aiming is broken. Reviewers are saying it too. Posting a dumpload in this thread is just preaching to the choir; it wont help CCP fix the problem faster.
I have doubts as to whether or not CCP can fix this at all. They made a game that's simply too complex for PS3 imo and they keep finding that out as countless things just don't work. |

This is very telling as to the average dancer's capacity for strategic and tactical thought when the only methodology you can think of is to stand out in the open firing upon the enemy and feel entitled to some manner of gimmick devoid of the need to think in order to survive |

I just don't see what else 2 enemies can do when head to head if Strafing was possible to get rid of lol. Sure you can flank and use the strategy of suprise against foes but what to do when 2 foes are face to face? It is quite impossible to get rid of strafing so I will give it no more thought. Please continue the good fight on the current topic of the thread though. I welcome support in things we CAN change.

and that's just for now with more weapons,vehicles,equipment,drones as well as other things yet imagined the methodology number could increase exponentially, but no lets further reduce this supposed hardcore shooter to gimmicks because people like you can't engage that blob of nerve cells between your ears that well |

Because you need to lead sprinting targets also. i dont think people have a problem with you running or sprinting to get somewhere or to get to cover it just the side to side dance off bs you get in the 15m to 20m range. |

I think I just found to secret to why I can't hit **** in close range with my HMG. At first I thought the way I'm walking is the issue so I always walk in the opposite direction I'm pulling the gun (Pull gun to right, walk to left) and it does seem to help a lot. However aiming was just ****** up in Uprising and it seems that it will never be fixed |

The game looks sooo ugly though.. How do you do it? Lol I feel like I am playing Socom2 which is not a bad thing but when the enemy is like 20 meters away it looks like he's across the map at times lol
