Why does the Loser Rifle even need to reload? Isnt it just a Loser beam? Why not just keep the overheating and maybe tweak it for balance, but reloading a Loser beam does not make sense. What do we reload it with? |

On ships, the laser requires capacitor but the lense it uses occasionally break so there isn't such thing as infinite ammo. Would you rather it drain you suit's stamina? |

Kind of working as intended. It was supposed to choke against armor. It could use a buff in clip size and ammo capacity. Iron sight suck too, you can barely tell if you're hitting anything or if the damn thing is on half the time. |

To add to this point, the capacitors are being charged by the ships powerplant, which does generate a crapton of electricity.
While the suits do have a power source, it's not enough to power weapons. So they use power packs which I would geuss would be a form of super capacitor. Once you load it in it gives the juice to power the weapon and when it's depleted you just pop it out and load in a new one. No waiting for the gun to charge up only to fire for a short amount of time. |
