I'll say it here that if your going to lone wolf in ambush, its going to bad for you. Its tough. But in skirmish? You could be part of the problem if your whole team is behaving like backwards sperm, not knowing where to go, (zoom out to big map and watch noobs at play) or your the game changer.

There are restraints here that prevent one person to really become gods. (gear) all in the name of equality. But like in real life there is no such word! Any fps player that were gods and monsters in other fps game, not just cod. are put on constraints here.

But there are ways.. If you want to lone wolf, play by there rules. equip yourself for it. and then make your confrontations come your way.

ALL my battles are fought on my terms. They come to me. Not me to them. If I do venture, I delete there spawn points, so their weak asses cant' call for help. I force them to 1vs1 me. And that even with their proto gear on they have 40% of winning.

I use to be a demon in every other FPS game. SOCOM, MAG, Unrael, Vegas 2, tirbes. ext. Here I come and I get a damn leash put on me! The nerve! I can't solo kill whole squads anymore! Am I bitter? **** yeah I am! But I learned. haha. I learned.

In skirmish, you the lone wolf can change games around. I've done it. And sometimes odin will smile on you put you in a position too mow down whole squads, proto or not.

Enemy has ABC. Your team trying for A. Go after C and take out the army of two guarding it, then back to A. And Haunt it. Thats what I do. Now my team spawns at c. leaving A to me. I even found a nice home at C. where a squad of proto tried getting me out. hahahaha! Thats when odin smiles at you. Anyway, I made it back to A.

Lone wolfing is possible. You have to pick the right role for one tho. long live the pilots, and the ninja cowboys who still keep lone wolfing alive.

You know how hard is to grind ISK in a Squad? When people needs to go for a smoke, toilet, answer the phone, pick the mic from the floor, make a cup of tea..... the list is very long, so i stop now, before i get into the "Banned for a month area"

Is allot easier to grind ISK alone.... just saying.

(Duvolle TAR is a little OP though) It takes a little more than a single complex range amplifier to really make the Gallente Scout have good passive scanning. I broke out the math and figured out how far a Proto Gallente Scout with 4 Complex Range Amplifiers could scan, and it's 38 meters. That is just outside the first tick on the radar,

It looks like aside from EWAR, the Gallente scout is being groomed for sniping too.

There is an important difference between working alone for your team, and working for yourself. People idling in the MCC are working for themselves, but not the team. People who roam the battlefield aimlessly looking for opportunity kills could be said to be helping reduce the team's clone count, but that only holds water if the match doesn't end prematurely due to nobody capping the objectives. Snipers often use this to justify sitting on a rock the whole match.

Last build a scout had to work alone to take advantage of their potentially huge profile advantages. Now, even though I haven't had much time with Uprising yet due to Internet Bullshit, I'm not so sure. With a dramatically reduced personal profile it'll be harder for a scout to not rely on the rest of a team to keep their situational awareness up. Running alone with an active scanner leaves massive windows of vulnerability for people to pick you off, and without a long range passive scanner you're at the mercy of random chance to avoid rounding a corner into the path of a heavy's HMG barrel.

That said, this is all tangential and the topic's question is a dumb A/B choice that makes no sense at all. Have a nice day!

I run solo - don't need to rely on someone else all the time to do well unlike some of you scrubs. Sometimes just paying attention to your team and not being a rambo is well enough as if in squad.

Besides that fact my HMG has no reach and I'm slow so having 5 AR's in my squad means no kills for me xD

 Yeah.... no.

Most Pubs are casuals, and considering Duvolle Tacs are completely overpowered right now, you get no brownie points.

Try it with dual catylizers. Minmatar scouts make speed tanking a thing now. My corp director found a new strategy where he rushes or flanks a squad at full speed, running past them and picking off anyone dumb enough to follow. In a squad, he runs distraction and while everyone turns around saying "WTH was that?" the rest of the squad overtakes them from behind.

I think I said too much...

Ive been playing solo since open beta, every other Spectre II member is a lone wolf even if we are teamed up, the most we get out of teamworks is "dude ...stop stealing my kills" or "YOINK,that was me!!!"

We dont revive each other, in a best case scenario i might save a clone by helping mt friend, but i did it to kill the guy.

We have been pretty succesfull at it and 9/10 we top the board, but it might be time to find a corp and do some team-work, practice time has finished.

Lone wolfing has it's place and is definitely more lucrative for the lone wolfer himself. However, that's really only for instant gratification. Once PC rolls in and we can start being hired by Capsuleers, KDR and other individual stats won't mean a thing. All potential clients will be concerned with is victory and victory is most easily attained through teamwork.
