And by the way. That 1 mill isk tank you were operating? Yeah. Thats gone too.
Epic. Fail.
I can handle getting blown up in a toe-to-toe fight. Run what you're willing to lose. But at least put the risk on my own ability to manage the equipment.
Server stability has taken a serious dump on this "patch". The black screen of doom has become ever more prevelant too.
Can sum up my question to CCP in three letters.
WTF?

Had this problem with piloting a dropship. I'll be flying around and get an error while being signed out of PSN. Makes me lose my 1m+ dropship. Any server disconnects they should set so you retain the lost material. Prior to entering the match. |

We have several different messages for disconnection, for example: You have been disconnected. The server is currently not available. You have been disconnected for being inactive for too long. But this one "You have been signed out of PlayStation-«Network." is actually toggled by PSN, our game is just get the notification from PSN and display the message. It's probably because PSN is not quite stable. If you're using wireless network, switching it to wired may help.
Thanks for you feedback.

Thats a problem from sony when you DC from the PSN. Its not a issue from CCP they just give you a notification why you actually got removed from the match. But you still lost the tank which is annoying. |

Well, I understand it's annoying to lost an expansive vehicle when getting unexpected disconnection. But please picture this: if someone lost a vehicle and then unplug cable or turn off router to simulate "PSN Signout" and then we give his inventory back, it's unfair to other player. I think there's no good way to detect weather the disconnection is intentioned or unexpected. But anyway, I will forward this to our designer to see if we can have a better solution.
Thanks. |

I'm wired up and still get this message. It has become a daily thing now, I'm doubting it has to do something with the players connection to PSN, this is the only game that gives me this error. |

I was experiencing this problem yesterday. It signed me out three times in a row during a short period of time. I gave up and went to sleep in the end, however today the problem seems to have not persisted and I am playing as normal.
I believe this to be Sony's end of things due to their unique error message and the fact it signed myself out of PSN altogether. |

Experienced this for the first time today. Was playing an ambush OMS match with 5 in our squad. First noticed a squad member had been disconnected, then I received the 'disconnected from PSN Network' error message.
Weird thing was, the game sounds seemed to be continuing (not looping) despite the disconnection.
Pressed x on the pop-up, screen went black, then took me to the PSN sign in screen. Clicked to sign in, went off to do other stuff and when I came back, Dust had restarted on it's own and was at the character select screen! |

While I do understand that the PSN error is not CCP related, what I can say is that in the last three days I will get this error at least once a game session. Normally while idle in the barracks or after I've been in and out of game menus quickly.
i'm not seeing frequent disconnects from other PSN supported games that I play.
I normally only see the error once a session however it takes turning off my PS3 and restarting it for the re-connect to the network. Otherwise I get the time out error when trying to sign back in even if I quit the game. |

Since uprising, and especially the last week or two I have gone from having a fairly lag free enjoyable game to major lag spikes, disconnects, errors.
Lets seen in the last two weeks I have had;
"You are disconnected due to internal error - Contact CCP"
"Your game is corrupted, please reinstall"
"You have been signed out of PSN network"
"Error (Followed by some numbers)"
PC matches are too laggy to even play (I know I'm in the UK and play with Americans, is this the problem?)
Also CCP, I have been keeping my eye on the eve-offline server graphs for Dust and I see since the DDOS attacks server stability is somewhat erratic. The player count goes up and then down wildly. I can only assume this is when large chunks of the player base are receiving these errors and being booted from the game.
Any words on this? |

Why don't you guys just make it so that instead of getting booted from the game for a little bit of instability, the game just does a passive refresh to see if the player is actually still connected??? I SHOULD NOT be booted from a game just because my connection fluttered for 5 seconds....... especially when im told "you've been disconnected from PSN" and I look at my XMB menu and it says im still signed in.......
You should set the game up like how COD 5 had it. Years ago when I still played that game I would get signed out of PSN randomly while playing it. However I wouldn't get booted from the game, in fact I could continue playing for a good minute or two before it eventually booted me. This 1-2 minute grace period would allow players to sign back in, OR prevent them from getting booted just because our connection to PSN dipped low for 5 seconds.
I really don't see why our signal strength to PSN has to be at 100% at all times to keep us in matches...... |

Ok smart ass, you have the technology to create one of the greatest games in existence, yet you can't go back and see if it was a server error on PSN/CCP's end and not on the consumers end? |

Okay im getting the server not available message. Im not being signed out by PSN either. Im ONLY loosing connection from server. Ive ran it quite a few times and ive lowered it down to a glitch with me being in sqaud. Im not sure why its only happening to a handful of people and not myself, but if i join a match solo i have no problem i started doing that for a couple hours to see what happened after three DC's in a row. Then recently tonight i tested out with sqauds, EVERY single time i join a match with a sqaud i get about approx 2 min. into the match and i get DC'd. This issue just started this week.
I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling to see if it would fix.
One thing i have noted however, was the patch released this week? And should i have seen a download happen? Because i never saw any instance of a download even after reinstall there was no notice of patching. Im not sure if this is revelant in the least but it is something that i noticed.
And for a game thats supposed to be about squad play and play among corporations it makes it really hard with i cant actually play with my corp or alliance. Any solution to this issue would be greatly appreciated thankyou. |

I, too, am getting this. And I am still connected to PSN when I quit the game. I am just logged out of CCPs servers.
Maybe you guys should call sony, compare logs, and figure out the issue instead of pointing fingers and passing the buck. You might find that the problem actually is on Sonys side. In the very least, you should do the due diligence and remove any doubt.
FYI- it doesn't happen on any other multiplayer game I own. Only Dust514. |

There was a post a while back from someone stating that they received the "You have been disconnected. The server is current not available" message with the added "Press X to retry" etc, but still being connected to the game. Unable to move, shoot, or even access the menus, they were able to still see the kill feed, null cannons being hacked and such.
Link to that post - https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=83722&find=unread (Even includes a video)
I've experienced this about 7 times now and have noticed it only happening ever since the DDOS attack. Where I too apparently have been disconnected, but am still in the game, able to view the kill feed and see Null Cannons being hacked. What is even more peculiar is that when I waited for the match to end, upon having Dust514's Disconnection Message being thrown in my face, I got a message saying I have been signed out of PSN. Odd. Why am I still here, sitting in game, watching people kill each other.
