They not bad. Not sure what weapons and dropsuits are but should be something bit better than basic stuff or at least equivalent.
Will consider Elite one myselF. Lots of BPOs. |

Very sexy, just wish that the Elite pack had a Sniper rifle as well.
The stats on the various BPO's would be nice too. But I suppose I can wait, lol. |

Nah i'll just get another mercenary. Its the best deal, specially if AFTER they are gonna put all the BPO in the market as they will do with the Toxin SMG and the Dragonfly scout.
Lots of BPO, yeah. Usefull, nope. I wouldn't use Half of the stuff there, specially those 200 vehicles LOL.... |

Dust Market items.csv, the stats provided for the Dren and Toxin rifles are identical (as is their meta-level). Oddly, there is no covenant assault rifle in the csv file, just an assault suit, but the sniper rifle is a equivalent to standard (same as using "Sniper Rifle"). If there is a covenant assault rifle, it's presumably std meta 1 as well, I would think. Which means it's three different.. colors maybe of the same rifle. For people that already have the Exile (also a std meta 1), this would become increasingly redundant - it makes buying more than one pack seem silly on at least one level, since you'll wind up with even more redundant ARs. This is probably a sign that ARs won't be getting nerfed soon.
For people that bought the collector's edition coming in the fall, the scrambler blueprint will be redundant.
I noticed in the Dren suit BPOs, it's all old style stuff:
A Gallente Scout G-1
An Amarr Heavy A-1
A Caldari Assault C-1
A Minmatar Logistics M-1
... so, no new racial variants are there - it's all pre-uprising combos. Further, three of those old combos are specs (as opposed to frame-size), however the Amarr Heavy became the class "Sentinel", and the Heavy is just a frame-size now. It's sort of a further statement that it's using old terminology. It would be interesting if three are specialization locked suits (or suits that get bonuses from those racial specs) and one is just... a frame-size copy (relatively much less special).
Anyhow, the net BPOs:
3 ARs (a, b, c)
2 Saga LAVs (b, c)
1 Sniper (b)
1 Scrambler pistol (c)
1 Swarm Launcher (c)
1 Shotgun (c)
1 No-req assault suit (assuming it's like Dragonfly Scout) (a)
1 Scout G-1 (same as Valor) (c)
1 Heavy A-1 (a basic frame?) (c)
1 Assault C-1 (same as Raven) (c)
1 Logistics M-1 (same as Sever) (c)

I'd like to hear how CCP plans to address the issues with old Merc Pack and AUR refunds. Until those are resolved, I can't in good conscience trust CCP with (more of) my money. |

Im not going to buy any of the suggested packs for the bpos, mainly due to the current bpo issue when will they make this lot require skills in areas i dont want
anyway i would buy a Logi pack or a Gallente pack,
Would be great to have std bpos in the packs and advanced bpc of items that role would use

Maybe these new BPOs will be usable without any skills, same as the dragonfly scout, toxin smg, daemon shotty and exile AR. Would explain the massive increase in SP required for the old tribute suit BPOs...
(Yeah yeah, it could also be that no one at CCP even realized what consequences making specialsation suits require proto level basics would have for those BPOs. I'm sure they're horribly behind schedule, un-finished MMOs always are. Not an excuse when the game de-facto went live when we hit open beta (possibly even back when they first allowed you to purchase closed beta access) however.) |
