A tank is ment for a squad to take down not one man with std or mlt swarms
but you cant combat swarms now because ccp
1. Has lowered my powergrid and CPU 2. Has made it so i cant raise my turret even though monden tanks can raise there turrets high so i cant shoot anything 1 meter above me 3. have buffed AV so much

+1 I agree.
Not only have they nerfed vehicles by making them harder to fit them as well as less effectively, they are soon to introduce new weapons to hurt us! And we still don't even have any PROTO vehicles!
Also is it just me or are a lot of the swarms that are hitting me nearly invisible? I'll be plowing through the terrain when suddenly I hear four explosions hit me and take damage. |

Have you used the milt swarms, they are not as good as they were. i do not know about the higher lvl swarms. |

Yeah swarms are hitting from every where even when there is no one launching i got hit in the ass with swarms when i was under the mcc ready to roll to a null cannon I.e facing the null cannon
They should increase the price of all AV or Decrease the price of All vehicles together Vehicles that can cost from like 100k - millions of isk taken out buy free swarms that are easily spamable

the forge gun took a huge hit. i don't know what you are talking about when you are blabbing about AV being buffed. if you run an armor tank the only thing you need to worry about is AV grenades (nerfed because nanohives are useless), turrets, other tanks, and the occassional fly on the wall swarm launchers. but i guess everyone just starts talking out of their when everything is just so bad across the board. |

Dude we need to squad up, because other than the powergrid problem I have been rolling a Gunnlogi and have not been having a problem with AV so far. I haven't tried out armor tanks yet with new fittings, but right now shield tanking seems to be in. Out of all of the matches I have used tanks in I have only lost 2 to AV and both were because I got stuck on a building or hill because I wasn't paying attention. And I use tanks in every match.
Yes there are some serious issues with tank skills and with the turrets being bugged, but once they are fixed, I feel bad for infantry. |

Edit: Although I am not real sure if anyone has actually skilled to use AV past the militia swarms or the no skill Hacked AV Grenades. So I guess we will see if I have to eat my words in a few weeks or longer, depending on how fast infantry players skill heavily into AV in general.
i have proto forge gun. (like a moron) i may as well be spit shining the tank.
1/2 the effective range i can get shot by blasters before tanks are in my optimals, 60% damage to armor. breach forge guns are the only ones that do the 2200 damage now, but their charge rate and forced to stand still you are dumb if you select that one. assault forge guns are weaker than standard.
takes 8 shots to strip a proto type to 1/4 shields with a proto type and that is if the tank stands around 25-30 seconds of continous fire.
might be less if i pump another couple million. all around bad choice. i regret not doing tanks again. |

That is interesting to know, thank you. Hopefully you are not lulling people into thinking it is easy. But I can honestly say, the biggest fear I have right now on the field with my HAV is if the enemy calls in there own, but that can lead to much more fun. I do think it will force more people to work as a team to destroy HAV's, with 6 man squads that shouldn't be to hard with good communication. While HAV battles don't last very long once they meet head on unless we play a game of cat and mouse. But I think this might lead to people trying to recruit more HAV drivers to there squad.
Also, my experience so far has been with a full squad and a full HAV with infantry that actually helps take out AV. Kind of a new experience that I am having after leaving my last corp. |

i played a match against 10 drop ships. i can see a squad pulling out 6 tanks easy. and even against 6 proto AV that is going to be hard to manuver around and try to deal with. because as soon as one is hit they will just switch off and you can't get those extra shots off to finish him.
and thanks to the nanohive retardation, you will run out of ammo while tanks run around with infinity. the few and far between easily destroyed supply depots aren't enough.
i think their are only 1 in the middle and one on each base. so you have to take an LAV to get fatties over there and hope you don't get nailed by a tank or a rock that sends the LAV tumbling. |

I'm one of the best tankers in the game and I note, AV grenades have to go!!!!! They do the same amount of damage as AV weapons but have no reload time, No charge up time (High rate of fire), they can be thrown around corners, over walls, under walls and basically you need no need to aim, just throw wildly, they stay on the ground for too long (Less of a problem this build as you can shoot them with you turrent).... basically the list goes on but if you just gave the AV nade a little nurfing like make them only throwable 1 every 3-4 seconds I'd be happy... I mean when one person has them it's no problem but all you need is 2 people with Proto AV nade and some distraction and no armour tank stands a chance... I'm sorry about my bitching but I'v lost more tank to AV grenades than Forge Guns, Swarms, Orbitals, Rail gun tanks, Blaster tanks and Missile tanks combined and i'd like to see something done about them. And BTW tanks are just fine this built either tank the fact that we can't shoot anything above us. |

So far, with 6 man squads the most tanks from my squad has been two at a time. Two tankers with 4 infantry for the open seats, works great. I have not yet seen 6 tanks on one side, but as a tanker I have been enjoying this build.
I have noticed an obvious increase in AV, mostly forge guns in the last few days, but not as many as I had expected, but I don't think as many people skilled back into heavies this time around.
HAV"s look weak when you look at the numbers and the amount of broken skills for vehicles, but with the general nerf to infantry weapons I think it might be coming to a proper equilibrium. But I have NO experience as infantry this build as I went full on HAV skills. Not regretting it right now, but I do think people will adapt and I will start to loss isk as if I played Somber Blink all day. |

The good tanks are difficult to pop. Then again there are not that many people in av suits, but those that are in av are PROTO all the way. |
