I want my Sever back. The skill requirements need to be changed, so that you 'only' need medium proto (any race). I don't like being forced into a specific race just because I purchased a suit with no racial requirements or benefits.
AURUM, do more faster? I can't ******* use it. |

Sever should be reimbursed and new "Sever type" dropsuits should be implemented for each race at the same price as the Sever was.

I'm fine with increased reqs, but they should've been reimbursing the suits (for the people that paid Aurum for them). If you got the Sever for free, I don't think it really matters if you can't use it because it became "better".
So... keep it the same, there's already a shortage of Logi suits, and it defrays the logi costs of all that equipment, etc. for the minny logis at least. But reimburse the people that actually paid Aurum for it (and Raven... and Valor.. which have the same situation). Those are $10 suits now. |

That's exactly how it should be looked at.
It's funny I had actually planned on them taking it away and reimbursing the AUR. Without a shared corp armory I can't even pass it onto someone else who can use it. |

Better is relative. It's still a standard level suit, but has high reqs. However, it can now benefit from the racial passive skills (specifically, Minmatar Logi). So, it's very good for them. Even at the lowest level of logi (if you literally went Minmatar V, Min Logi I), you'd get at least the first rank of racial passive on your Sever suit. That's 1hp/s armor regen and 5% hacking bonus. At proto Logi, you'd get 5hp/s and 25% hacking I believe (on your Sever).
That's not a revelation mind you, you'd get the same on a standard level minmatar logi suit too. However, the capability of the suit increased somewhat relative to the current SP equivalent suits, which would probably be a Basic Medium Frame. It's because they changed the way specialization and roles worked I suppose. |

Well I just paid the SP. I also had this problem with the Raven suit and did the same. I cannot do without those BPO's.
The Sever also seems a bit faster than it used to be as I can now keep up with the assaults. If you can use it you will be very popular on the battle field. A lot of blues are now shooting me to rep them as not many logi's are present anymore it seems. |

I went into Min logi anyway, I was going to do it regardless of where Sever fell, but This really is just a fairness issue. CCP, you know the people that bought those suits are the people that have/will spend money on a game, throw them a bone and at least tell them SOON you will make some way to refund/replace I know an open market will make this issue go away but I believe that is a loooong way off.
I like a lot of what you have done CCP. |

I like a lot of what you have done CCP.
I like a lot of the specialization elements added to the races myself, though I think the "uniqueness" for roles like Assault, Scout, and Sentinel are lacking in comparison to their basic frames right now.
I don't really feel they should remove the racial requirements, but the steep buy-in for the suits that have become racial-locked when they weren't before suggests to me that they should be refunded for the people that actually paid Aurum for them. |

I have logged a support ticket to request either a refund or to remove racial\sp requirements so we can use again and suggest you do the same. If enough people show their disappointment CCP have to act on it. |

They might, but they certainly don't have to. The reset option is coming up. And there may be some fixes and a respec as well. Maybe.
As far as pushing ccp to do something... we tried that on wallstreet a while back, life went on and protesters were boned. We protested at the White House against the corporate bailouts... they said yes... then did it anyway. We the people can offer opinions and suggestions at best, but affecting change...? That seems a little too much to ask for.

I would love the Sever to usable without 1.9M SP. Even with 10M that is nearly 20% of all that effort.
Starting from zero that is ~four weeks with both boosters or nearly 2 Months Without. This means that none of the BPO suits are worth anything at all, much less $10US. No modules are provided in the suit so that means the total Real World Time is closer to Three Months to be a Logi Bro. A beginning Logi Bro with no weapon skills. Gods forbid that someone other than Mimmatar wants to pursue this path.
Somebody at CCP needs to understand that this is way too expensive in time for the little benefit it actually produces. The Logi Bro function is now more precious to enter than any other. A Militia variant suit with 2 equip slots is mandatory. Without two slots the Logi Bro function is not worth pursuing.
Personally, I really don't like the feeling that my various rewards for participating over this last year are now punishments. |

Ok. Without going into details..... again I strongly suggest you create a nice support ticket stating you paid full 19800 isk for the suit (as long as you did) and that now you can't use it due to the sp requirements and you would like a refund. It might just help if you catch my drift....... |
