I thought you don't need weaponry to 5 to use proto AR's? |

That is why there should be a skill reset. This is still, apparently, a beta. We've done some more testing. Given some feedback, and now need to move on with the knowledge we have gained as a playerbase and for the knowledge given to the creators. As a nod of appreciation some form of skill reset would be appreciated. |

NO!!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!
you didnt release any details to us?!!?! and broke everything in this build?!?!?! you didnt listen to us before and now you gonna pretend you are?!?!
BULL****
no!!!! you ban people for negative criticism but you dont take ANY from us!!! you wanted us to help you test the game for a year and this is suppose to be the fruit of our testing?! Is this a bad joke?
NO.
You played with most of us enough. You went back on legal terms, changed your mind at the last second before a patch and you are now scrambling to fix whatever is left with your reputation with Sony.
You are listening to us? Then what the hell is this?!

While your at it, can we get a full patch notes including all the ninja nerfs with some kind of footnote on reasoning behind the change.
I'd like to know why almost everything that wasn't an AR took a damage nerf. You know, to debunk any favoritism theories. |

I want a patch notes of their screw ups and an apology from them.
Not a "hey we looking at your comments on the forums and working on stuff". Thats what we did for a year to get to release.

They listened in all honesty. Everyone complained about the range of almost every weapon, so they got rid of sharp shooter. Most everyone agreed that HMG's where overpowered when they speced heavily into sharp shooter. All these changes have been based on our feedback. They went a little hard on the heavies range I agree they could use a 10% bump in range along with the AR, but everything else feels right. You can't snipe everyone from across the map with most every weapon anymore, and for some that destroyed the way they used to play and they now need to adapt. For example people who where good at ranging people with AR should switch to TAC, while cqc focused assaults might consider the breach or stay with the standard AR.
A note to heavies: Logi's now heal for over 100 HP/s.... Armor is win, and you are now that unpenetrable fortress when teamed with a skilled logi so qq less please. |

That's nice to say, but it would be nicer if we were seeing evidence of our feedback being noticed. More posts like the acknowledgement of the vehicle PG skill issue - but preferably with ACTUALLY CLEAR LANGUAGE USED. Don't just tell us "PG skill on vehicles is broken, we'll fix it".
Tell us "Vehicle Engineering is applying a CPU cost reduction for PG modules when the description says it gives an increase to PG. Description to be amended to reflect actual effect" or "Vehicle Engineering is applying a CPU cost reduction when the description says it gives an increase to PG. Will be corrected so PG increase is applied".
Saying "there's a problem with X, we'll fix it" isn't helpful. Explain WHAT the problem is, and HOW you're going to fix it.
Also, with that specific example, there are people who spent SP we don't have to spare on our characters, some of which will go to waste even if the skill is fixed because we had to over-spend to find out the skill wasn't working. Giving a straight answer to the currently-much-requested "can we get another respec because I got screwed by X?" question should be a pretty high priority.
Also, there have been numerous threads locked ove the Merc Pack issue, and there's at least one still floating around with an actually valid solution where you guys have offered an unfair change to the terms you agreed to, so an answer to the fact that there are still plenty of legitimate complaints about that would be nice as well. |
