That's what everyone assumed had been done until some people with DPI switches found they could get past the usual speed limit by tweaking their settings.
It's what SHOULD have been done for Uprising instead of all the other changes they made for the worse. |

i stand corrected then. my point still stands that mice were great and for reasons beyond my comprehension they were destroyed |

Yep, I'll be giving CCP two weeks to roll out a fix for this. Right now, I can barely tolerate playing. |

+1 that's great to hear that the current mouse controls are not as intended. I must admit, Uprising has been impressive in many respects, however the current mouse controls have me frustrated. Unfortunately, controlling the character is pretty fundamental, so its hard to appreciate other improvements to the game when struggling to simply maneuver.
looking forward to the fix - pre uprising mouse control was very nice |

You mean GIMPED play? Anyone who chooses to use a controller is choosing to be GIMPED, in any shooter. They weren't made to be played with a damn controller unless there is no up and down, only side-scrolling. |

THANK YOU !!! Thank you for actually showing us that the KBM controls are actually broken. Having a very hard time myself as well with the mouse. Everybody who is crying about KBM being superior to DS3 CCP shouldn't nerf mouse but aim to bring the DS3 up to the same level. I've seen request that moving R3 a little will only move you slowly while moving R3 a lot will making you turn very fast. Also giving DS3 controllers more sensitivity options (like buffing up sensitivity options as i've seen a lot of DS3 players ask for this )
I've been killed by DS3 controller guys a looot of times and even one of the best guys i know is rocking the DS3 |

Im currently using a G15 Keyboard and G500 mouse and am not noticing any problems with sensitivity and/or turn speed. I do have my mouse sensitivity at 90 percent. Im not sure what other KBM combos others are using. |

I don't see why all the fuss people are having about the mouse controls.

Yes, set your mouse sensitivity to 90%. Something very weird is going on at 100% sensitivity.
This won't fix the radial menu issue, but has fixed all the other weird mouse behavior I've been experiencing since uprising. |

maybe its the variable sensitivity on your guys fancy mice. For me, it feels like I'm playing with a slightly laggy wireless mouse. When I look around / aim, there is a fair bit of acceleration, which makes it quite frustrating to track targets legitimately. Even experimenting with the dust mouse sensitivity and smoothing hasn't brought it to an "un-frustrating" level.
I'm just so relieved to hear that the current pattern isn't as intended. My hope is that whatever correction is made, it will bring it back to that crisper movement |

The radial menu behaves exactly like when i use the Eagle Eye Converter to convert my Mouse into DS3 input. |

The current state of kb/m makes me cry.
Thankfully Uprising did get rid of the crouch sensitivity modifier. Sadly, the ironsights sensitivity modifier seems to be gone aswell... |

I've had no problems with mouselook. I'm using a Razer Diamondback. What I would like to see though, is better kb/mouse integration in navigating the UI. In other words, I want to see a keyboard/mouse MODE that takes over the UI once you plug those peripherals in. I don't want to see 'Press O to access' - I want to see 'Press K' or 'Press Mousebutton 1' etc.
The alienation of PC gamers is what bothers me... CCP has an entire playerbase from EVE to think about. I'm one of them. Don't punish us, please. I haven't gamed with a controller in like 10 years. |

Just drive a jeep around and run people over for a week or two. One thing CCP did fix is Jeep driving with DS3 and Mouse&keyboard.
Actually instead of the FPS we have now, where everyone runs at each other then dances around 5 feet from each other having sword fights with guns, if CCP changed it into a "Death Race 2000" style game i think i would actually play that. |

I will say this, navigating the menus with my KBM set up is horrid. My keyboard has two USB ports on it so I keep my DS3 plugged in and use it when navigating menus and setting my deployment in game.
My preference with using KBM for this game is for the sole reason that im a PC gamer and can't stand the DS3 for FPS games. Not that there is anything wrong with it, just not a preference of mine and when offering the option of a KBM set up I of course am going to take it since that is what I am accustomed to.
As far as it being a "fancy" set up - its rather out dated in the realm of PC gaming as for that I use a G19 and G700 with multiple macro settings. If they allowed macro binds for actions in this game, then there would be a clear advantage for the KBM users given the obvious additional button options. But thats not an issue. |
