 The above statement is debatable but the result is clear.
 Every single weapon has a pity full range.
 I could probably spit farther than what those weapons do.
 I think a SLIGHT increase to all weapon ranges would be good.

 Well release is in a week so they should probably fix it by then. If they release it as is ccp would be making a huge mistake. Range is a joke in this game now. But I guess it fits with lore that mercs are all futuristic space retards. Can't make scopes or bullets that fly farther than you can throw a ball...

 Agreed, i'm struggling with the AR range now. At least now they can make global changes to weapon range and it wont affect balance as much (as they don't have to account for sharpshooter).
 
 We need to bring this game back to around SS5 levels.. So ~20% boost to range to most weapons.

 It did more good than harm people need to learn adapt and get used to no ss it was one of the best things to happen now people dont have to worry about an ar being a sniper rifle

 Dont even ask for it. Wouldnt be so bad if there was a slight range increase....though even with base sharpshooter (and I only got sharpshooter skills about a week before Uprising...) it wasnt hard to kill people. GIve it time huge change I know.

 They can hotfx them so it sucks day 1. But now they can actually tweak the ranges without breaking the game.

 I can't hit anyone on the table top without standing at a 70+ degree angle from under the table.
 Anything more and the enemy is singing "can't touch this".
 
 A slight 10% increase to all weapons won't do much to balance, only make the weapons feel less of a joke.

 SS for range needs to be optional again. Maybe increase the SP requirement for it. It added variety if anything, now its all too predictable.

 ss was bullshit it was mandatory to max asap else ppl could kill you with your same weapon while you couldn't even hit back. They should just give us the range of SS5 and SSP 5 in every weapon, so the game feels like a shooter and not some "throw some plasma rocks to ppl" kind of game.

 Anyway:
 SS + SSP all level 5 are too much for base range.
 I never felt like the AR had stupid low range when I had sharpshooter III all the time, so I think 15% should be the maximum they give.
 I still think 10% is the best, but 15% is the maximum I would agree with.
