i looked over the information you posted, and didn't see any indication as to how far you'd need to skill a 'node' to get to the next one.

You told me that none of these suits have more than 1 equipment slot, so yes, these are in fact different from the suits we have right now. We currently have a logi, we will not have a basic logi. That's something different and in the eyes of logis, pretty bad. |

i think there's some sort of confusion here. it will be more understandable when you see how far you need to skill the prereqs to get the lower level logi. |

I'm not sure that's accurate.
My understanding was that ONLY Logi suits would have more than one equipment slot. |

Granted I have not seen what sort of bonuses come from the new skills but just looking at the excel skill tree CCP put out and the spread sheet someone in our corp made from it what I see all over the new Uprising skills is SP sinks all over the place. These SP sinks are especially screwing logi too in my opinion.
Currently for increasing PG and CPU we have Circutry and combat engineering both 1x skills that get maxed out with a total of 310,920 SP investment. Now they are 5x skill requiring a max SP input of bit over 1.5 million SP, but thats not bad enough. Before one can even increase those skills one has to spend 310K on Dropsuit upgrades and another 620K on "core upgrades".
It seems to me that CCP is trying to extremely slow progrssion in Dust for some reason. I guess its not a bhig deal since it is happening to all of us but it does suck. |

Correct you can't add a repair rate to a module that isn't there. Now if it said +1 to suit armor repair then the suit is getting a natural repairer.

The logi suit don't need base repair it +1per lvl, the amarr logi get a 5% bonus per lvl that bonus effect the repair module I ask ccp in the reddit post, so proto logi have hp/s base armor repair, and the amarr logi give a 15% bonuse to the module making the mlt heal 2.3hp/s, but if you spec repair then it another 15% witch make the 5hp/s into 6.5hp/s. Dose that help answer the logi bonusesquestion. |

This game's progression is being built like most MMOs build progression. So they seem to not expect you to reach "Tech II" prototypes (those suits are too "meh" to be considered Tech II) too soon (like two months to build a suit).

First off, appreciate you siftign through this IWS. But outside of the dropsuits do we know for sure that weaponry no longer provides anything other than the ability to unlock weapon levels and do we know if drop suit upgrade, drop suit core upgrades, and such skills do anything? If they don't then how can we say they are anything but an SP sink.
However, its nothing to jump off a ledge over because it is happening to everyone and any such changes if later to be found detrimental can easily be compensated for by an adjustment of SP reward and SP cap. Well I think I just talked my way into being pretty neutral about changes, have a good one ladies and gents. |

Yeah, the stats and slot layout say otherwise Or are you saying basic suits have the exact stats as our current suits? The advanced suits have anywhere from two (not one or not zero like current) 10-15% bonuses to a function that there is no current suit here can ever possibly match with current suits or even modules, If your current suits went against these new ones when they're optimally fitted, you will get ROLF stomped. Interesting... But are the "basic" suits exactly like our current suits? I'm fine with suits costing more, because of the bonuses, but I see no point to the basic suits.

but no actual numbers, and pass PAINFUL experience means we flip out
we see SP multipliers go up without proper info and think we will be stuck at BEST in semi-advanced gear.
CCP needs to understand, give us ALL the information or we will leap to conclusions based on past experience

Alright, so a couple of us were having a discussion about this earlier this morning and I just want to make sure I have it right. According to the items list and from what I gathered from this thread, the frame protos (T1) have the same stats as specialized protos (T2) (minus logis) and with a slight price difference. So the Amarr Medium Frame ak.0 is the same as the Assault ak.0 statistically, but the latter just has the added passive bonuses? |
