Lets look at shield tanking
Enforcer FalchionSagarisGunnlogi shield 2k shield 3120 shield 2600 armor 770 armor 1000 armor 1000 shield recharge 22/2 shield recharge 24hp/s shield recharge 22hp/s CPU 320 CPU 365 CPU 330 PG 1805 PG 1840 PG 1805 high powered 5 high powered 5 high powered 5 low powered 3 low powered 3 low powered 2
Then to add insult to injury the enforcer skill only gives you a 3% damage bonus per lvl where the marauder skill gave you a 4% damage bonus per lvl.
Not to mention that these damage skills do not effect Railgun tankers at all.
To me there is no point to move up into an enforcer tank when the Gunnlogi will get the job done.
Why would anyone want to get into higher teir tanking?

If Enforcers aren't the only top-level tank, and Marauders come back, this might not be as bad as it sounds.
Give Marauders a built-in damage resist instead of the damage buffs on the Enforcers - something like +2% armour resistance per level on the Surya, while the Sagaris gets a 3% increase to shield regen rate. Not exact numbers, just made them up on the spot, but you can see the point.
Also, sounds like a well-fitted Gunnlogi or Madrugar will be pretty evenly matched against either Enforcer. Build one tank to be a tank and the other to be a glass cannon, and it's going to make the fights a lot more interesting. Particularly considering people were getting broken damage numbers because of Railgun skills being incorrectly applied, so if that's fixed, they won't be one-shotting and two-shotting well-fitted enemy tanks any more, so you'll have to actually EARN your kills against enemy vehicles. |

+1 This is something I have kind of been thinking of as well. Plus, I hate saying this, but the numbers for the STD tanks might not be the same in uprising, the enforcer tanks might actually be an upgrade from STD tanks. I really hope not, but its a possibility. |

gunnlogi will still eat up either of the "enforcer" tanks, why waste the SP into anything higher? |

Edit: all info was smashed together for some reason You can snipe 11 pixel instead of 10 , just for 4,600,000 SP and an extra 1M isk. Imagine this part is small since we dont want you to see, New tanks are applicable to reduced PG, CPU, Armor and Shield. |

I don't understand all this tank QQ. I run a Madrugar on my alt, and I find it more than great, plus I haven't even gotten the best mods for it yet, so it will only get better. I am correct that they are not removing the STD tanks?
Last I checked all you tankers were whining that the Surya/Sagaris tanks weren't cost efficient anyways, now you are crying that you don't have them anymore. |

Sagaris/Suryas are great vehicles, the extra slot, PG/CPU and HP make them far better than the standard but the price was extortionate, but atleast we had the option. Now it's being removed completely and we're getting the same priced vehicle, same slots but with the PG/CPU and HP of a Militia Vehicle.
Tell me, as a logi bro, would you be pissed if I told you your proto suit will have every slot you need, but will have militia tier HP, CPU and PG? |

That's a bad example, since I don't use a proto suit, plus even if the proto had standard PG/CPU, it would still be viable since logi suits have such massive PG/CPU reserves, even at the standard level.
I understand the point you are trying to make, but just use the STD tanks, they can hold up against AV just fine and you won't need to worry about people with PRO tanks coming out of the woods since they are so incredibly horrible. |
