Wasn't there word from on-high a while ago that there were plans to reduce vehicle costs even before Uprising build was deployed?

I thought so. Combined with the lack of WP you get, and how easily destroyed they are from dirt cheap and zero-SP AV, I'd have to say this is an unsustainable career choice atm.
Go broke, get nothing.
Won't even have the SP to be a decent ground unit for a while too, with this vehicle split now. Which would be alright...Except that pilot suits won't be out till Soon(tm) after Uprising. So...Yeah.
At the price 700k you can have a tank and run 30-0. Or for a couple million now you can have a drop-shop with an ill conceived turret glued to it's face and offer yourself as tribute to the enemy FG. |

It'll be interesting to see what vehicle recall does to our perception of expensive vehicles. Now, it basically costs the price of the vehicle to deploy it. I wonder how much that will change. |

Probably help tanks more. redline snipers just recall out when they get bored. We'll see. |

Can someone on IRC poke/poke hard with fist Blam about the reasoning for this? I really want to know why they though pricing an aerial LAV at 4 times as much as a standard tank was a good idea. |

It's an upgrade over a standard dropship. You have to weigh whether you need a pilot controlled gun before committing to spending three times as much. |

well 3x as much wouldn't be a problem if it was originally like 10 ISK, the problem is it's 3x(220,000) ISK |

I wouldn't mind 2x as much, but 3x is way too much IMO when we're losing seats and HP to gain a turret and some extra speed. |
