All I'm saying is slapping armor plates on a scout is kind of silly, you'd be better off just running Assault or Logi at that point. Without actual stealth modules, I severely doubt reduced sig radius will make up for paper thin HP that heals at a snails pace.... |

Without actual stealth modules, I severely doubt reduced sig radius will make up for paper thin HP that heals at a snails pace.... Wasn't Jenza's scout suit healing at 4hp/sec? That's not too bad starting out. With all the passives and modules, you could probably get up to 10/sec. Or there might be an armor honeycombing skill to compensate for the movement penalty. |

I'm guessing the Gallente sentinel is the one that will have like 800 armor, similar to the current type-1s. I'm seeing Amarr having equal shields and armor on all suits. |

All the more reason for movement penalty of plates to be basic- 2%, adv-3%, proto-4%. |

All the Flaylock Pistols too...which requires less skill to use. Just shoot the ground near the person. At least shields can move faster, allowing for a quicker getaway if anything. |

Flaylocks seem like anti scout weapons for sure, god damn I need to get my hands on this build so I can stop assuming and actually have evidence to work with >_< |

If the Flaylock is anything like the mass driver, there's going to be quite a learning curve to master that little bastard. But look at what we're talking about here, actual weapon and fitting balance for once. Uprising isn't even out yet and the counter mechanics meta game has already begun. |

it shoots in a straight line. There's no learning curve there at all. |

Try using a MD and tell me the same thing. Now imagine that you had 1/6 of the blast radius, only 3 shots and the range of a SMG. That's what a flaylock is going to feel like. |

I think of it this way as well. It's even better that shield control will have more effect. Too bad for those who stack dmg mod tho ^^"
I think you guys underestimated complex armor repairer. Stack 4 of them and you get 20HP regen, comparable to shield regen, except it work UNDER FIRE. Isn't this like we have 800 shield ? |

Link? dont have link by hand but it was stated several times by CCP that there will be different type of plates: -the current one with biggest hp boost -one with less hp boost but no speed penalty -one with less hp boost but repairs a certain amount of HP/s (less than regular repairers)
It is uncertain if they will be in uprising already but they will come for sure. |

The basic prototype large frame has 2 high slots and 3 low slots. From what we can see so far, the only advantage the sentinel has is the bonuses of 5% reduction to weapon feedback damage per level, and the 2% heavy weapon reload speed. |

my guess it is damage from overheating the weapon you're using. |
