It is now Wednesday, so there goes that.
You can believe whatever you like, I hold CCP at what they say.
Jenza can either rep us and get is real answers or suck the CCP long one.
I will judge her based on how she acts. If she helps CCP heap manure on the community, then she is worthless as a CPM.
Don't confuse me with the simpletons who can be misled by false promises.
If CCP cannot produce what they promise, the CPM needs to hold them to account. Otherwise, why even have them?
A dev can tell us soon, we don't need another in the ****** chorus. Do you have a container for your tears? I need more fuel for the dropship. In all seriousness, i cannot tell you when it will be out without permission from CCP. We can not tell you ANYTHING that CCP tells us without permission. He has every right to go on that rant, with lazy CPM, even lazier devs. I think we're all losing patience now, and anyone who isn't, is putting it on to stay on your 'Good' side. Next time, instead of saying Soon, and instead of being a complete ass about it, give us the reasonable answer you just gave us. Anyway, we never asked when it would be out, we asked you to get CCP to GET it out.
Dude, have you tried using smoke grenades? I'm just wondering. |

Was organising another 24 hour charity event and donating one of the few prizes i got left from the tourney, the poster which i ran round Harpa collecting signatures for the event required for CPM? No.
I did all this stuff because i wanted to help the community, not because i had to. We are also doing many things behind the scenes that cant be talked about right now, which IS required of the CPM which i cant go into right now.
if you think you can do a better job, then by all means rise up, otherwise dont attack us or me for something that you know nothing about.
I'm sorry, would you like a pat on the back?
I wan't to be very clear from here on out, so listen up trick
I could never be a CPM, because CCP doesn't want critics, they want to be fellated about their promises.
Which is why you are there.

Hey General, you're coming off as a bit of an a-hole.
The purpose of CPM isn't to babysit the community and "bully" CCP into doing things. It's to alert CCP about player interactions, feedback and the like.
******** about not getting a dev blog isn' the best feedback, and Jenza has no commitment on her to cater to your every need.
Also, you make big talk about Betamax, but I can easily say they're better than your corporation inretty much every regard. Heck, even PRO beat you in the numbers business. |

Whenever CSM or CPM, a very vocal Minotory of haters who are super entitled will show up. Just ignore them, they seem larger becuase only 5% of players ever post on the forums. So the 1% of a holes make up 20% of the posts |

I agree it's the CCM job to let them know our concerns not to rage at them nothing gets resolved that way. However it is bad customer relations if you promise something then dont deliver giving additional promises and not fullflling them is very bad form in customer relations to. If you cant make a deadline you should let your customers know why (**** happens) and try to give an estemate for when its going to be done.
Maybe the CCM should inform CCP that they should perform best Customer Care pracitces and that way the community will not be so hot when "promises are broken".

Raging is what happens when you miss 15 deadlines that yourself set. Although I'm not mad anymore. It's just that it should get discussed over and over until one of them mans up and takes ownership.
They could even set another date that they'll provide it by AND meet it, preferably in the next day or so. |

It has seriously got to suck at CCP right now.
Consider the following:
Fanfest has just finished. The prep work that goes into something like that is enormous, and it's almost always an all hands thing. Maybe there was a core group of devs who were supposed to be exempt from all that, but you can bet that 12 hours prior to go-time, the pre-release uprising build was glitchy, or someone needed visuals for their presentation, or six people have emails into the team to verify that what they're saying in the presentations is actually true.
Then there's the pub-crawl, in which players get devs drunk in order to spill restricted info about the game (and to thank them for it of course, but it's the first part that's got the devs worried).
So now fanfest is over, and the devs are exhausted, the managers are exhausted. Everything needs to be cleaned up and put back in storage and they're short-handed so you've got to help with that. Plus, the tournament added a pack of bugs and tweaks to the devs' to-do list.
And here we are, with five days to go to a "do not miss or you'll wish we fired you" release date. Devs aren't leaving their desks. The lucky ones have a sleeping bag in their cubicles, and the rest are sleeping in their seats. QA is working off-shift hours to maximize testing and fixing time, and every time devs fix something, something else seems to break.
And to top it all off, the devs have a SECOND release date, equally "Can not miss", that is EIGHT DAYS later. So as soon as a bug is fixed and tucked back into the Uprising release, the devs are frantically working on the End-of-Beta release, so that as soon as Uprising goes out, the next release can go into QA.
And one of these guys is supposed to write a dev blog in his spare time.
My hat's off the dev team. The next case of Red Bull is on me, and the Dev blog can come after the next time you sleep. |

The first podcast that got us jonesing was released on 04/02/2013. They mentioned the dev blog coming soon. They've had a month. 30 days to transfer thoughts into words and post it. I'd be embarrassed if my employees couldn't get a document produced in a month after promising it to one of my customers.
On Monday FoxFour said the dude that was supposed to release wasn't in the office that day. So there is a dude that is working on it. Maybe he's never used a computer before. |

I'm not pointing at anyone in particular (I'm too lazy to go look) but it's one thing to ask for it and other to carp at the CPMs and CCP. Seriously, it's a few days before release, so you really think they aren't burning the midnight oil trying to kill off remaining bugs, do testing, put together a crapload of stuff we aren't aware of right now?
I'm in the software field, unfortunately not making games as I'd love to do that for a living, so I'd imagine that whatever is going on it isn't laziness. |

I have, but this isn't about nerf this or that. People have so many questions based on the half ass information we've received. When they've responded to many follow up questions, they've referred to the Dev blog to further explain. If you don't care to receive the information and seeing others do so bothers you, don't click on the threads that are very obviously geared to that very thing. |

So people complaining about CCP's failure to deliver is the legitimisation of their lack of communication?
If this is appropriate why listen to anything CCP says? When we don't get it we can't complain because complaining means we don't deserve it. |

We deserve this, we deserve that... they should this, they should that. It's a business... holding our hands is not in the job description.
