So a couple of weeks ago I hear what is clearly someone either getting a bj or having sex with a mic on. Couldn't help but try to make out what was going on but i didn't look them up. just thought it was funny. On another occassion heard some guy yelling at his kids it must have been before school, but yelling terrible stuff at them. Anyone else overhear funny or interesting stuff? |

Wasn't overheard but some kid joined a squad I was in, and kept saying "I'm a medic, I'm a medic, I'm a medic, I'm a medic" without I believe stopping to take a breath between matches. I hit the mute button, but then turned him back on for the match (I wish I hadn`t lol) "I don't think I'll be a medic for this match" then proceeded to die and call for a medic the whole match.. |

When people start shouting for medics I generally put on my most dodgy accent and say "Coming darling I will insert my nanite injector in you shortly and it will be wonderful."
If nothing else the awkward silence that follows is better than the constant screams. |

I did hear a guy's girlfriend going over the grocery list with him.
Mainly though, I hear this:
"Ok, ok..There are only three of them..Take THIS!!!!
WHAT???!!! WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!!!! WHAT UTTER BS! THIS GAME IS SO BROKEN! I COULD SO 3-to-1 IN (Insert other FPS)...
medic (in the most bored voice possible). I need a medic here." (Note, never identifies himself or mentions his location)
Repeat continuously.
I understand people wanting a hot mic in a corp match, but for quick-matches, please for the love of sanity, PTT. |

hahahaha. that guy is in my corp. His son is like 3 years old and is learning to talk. Cant remember his name though. |

A week or two ago some guy was having a full on argument with his wife about...something...I don't remember what on team chat. Eventually everyone had to mute him because it was getting too loud and no one could hear anything else going on. |

Let me regale you the story of Grandpa Catfish.
I join a match and hear an older (50-60 year old) mom talking to her son and his friends. She's telling him about some pond Uncle Joe has filled with fish. Everyone has apparently caught every fish in the pond - except one. Grandpa Catfish.
"Ain't nobody caught Grandpa Catfish yet. Ain't nobody caught him!"
And now it's a running joke between my girlfriend and I. It's just one of those convos you overhear that is just sort of "wtf?". Absolute favorite memory from beta so far. |

If only I could record all the funny/weird things I've heard.
The angry Russians with their kids crying were funny for a few minutes the first time, but it got old quickly. These days I hit 'mute' ASAP. The people who talk on the phone and get into TMI territory without realizing that people are listening are really funny, though sometimes I do feel weird about the stuff I overhear.
The most awkward talk I've overheard was between a guy and a girl, having fun together ... randomly saying the strangest things. They were both ridiculously giggly, it sounded like they were flirting ... and at some point the girl said, " [...] and that's why we're best friends, right?" in a very awkward, insecure tone of voice. At that point I wondered whether they had any idea that their squad wasn't locked and that I was in it :x
The funniest thing I've ever heard though wasn't something I overheard, but a reaction the game. A random guy was getting sniped repeatedly in Manus Peak and he started yelling about cheaters and then ragequit :x |

I love when guys rage in the game how everyone else sucks and they are the only one doing anything. Then you call them out and they "Put you on Notice" LOL is all I can say. Then of course they are no where near the top of the top 16 LOL |

once when I was playing battlefield bad company 2. I had sex with the mic on. lol. No one on my squad cared if we were losing because of me being so distracted. They just enjoyed the show and laughed it off. |

One of my mates has a child who watches him play and you can over here the kid saying ohhh look daddy and tanker ^^ or yeah daddy got him. That's cute
What I find horrible is iv here'd someone shout and swear at there children before just because the child has walked infront of the tv... (I don't know this person) but I mean come one perents, if your going to shout at your children... Turn the mic off and for the love of god dont swear at them. This is why we get little chavs at 10 years old swear and talking back to elders. |

i think one of the funniest things i have heard was someone who got on the game and had leaft there mic out and there mom got on and started raging about Osama bin laden being a good guy and the government causing nine eleven.
and the started preaching and stuff, how the Taliban didn't exist before we said it existed.... XD so funny though i eventually had to leave and get off but she ranted the whole time  |

I hate the lack of Comms in the matches I've been playing lately. I'm either the only one with a mic, or I'm the only one with a mic that actually uses it.
Hey, you, I know you have a headset because you have it on hands free and I can hear you.
Statistically, I lose every match where this is the case. You can't expect to win if only one person is utilizing their mic. So, I give everyone a fair warning, right now:
If you're in a game with me, and I'm the only one on mic, I WILL be trolling the comms with nonsense. I will sing random songs from the 1980's. I will even use different voices to pretend that someone else has a mic and is using it. That's not even the tip of the iceberg as to what I do on mic.
I do this for two reasons:
1. Eventually someone HAS to turn on their mic to tell me to shut up. At that moment I will utilize the comms as they were meant to be.
B. Again, I don't think I've won a single match where I have been the only one on comms. So if I'm going to lose, I'm going to have fun doing it. |

strangest thing (not necessarily the funniest) i've heard:
a dude in my squad, talking on the phone to his friend, who happens to be in the same match as us. and both of them talking about the team, and the goings on in the match. i know my K:D was down for that one as i kept on listening in to the conversation to hear what was happening on the other side of the map.

I enjoy playing old kung-fu movies on while I play.
Hopefully everyone else enjoys the cheesy sound effects and dialogue during matchs! I dont know if anything is quite as funny as throwing a grenade into a group of people just as the fight scene music starts up! |
