You say greed but you are nit being forced to buy it to play the game, the game us free and toy can decide to buy aur if you want to. CoD cost 60.00 plus all the new maps for a year is another 50.00 to 60.00 dollars. CCP does not charge for the new releases and if they did not offer aur what would be the motivation for them to do anything with this game.
Everyone crying like babies and complaining need to go back to call of duty or what the Hell you where playing, because people like me who have jobs, and other activities that keep us from sitting on our asses all day are going to buy aur. |

This is quite possibly the most idiotic thing I've heard all week.
You have misconstrued the entire purpose of the gaming industry. Their purpose is not to make you happy or create a game for your enjoyment. Their primary focus is only on selling their game. To that purpose, making a game that their consumer base enjoys is important, but not exactly necessary (how many times have you played a game and hated yourself for dying or thrown a controller across the room and then still gone back and played either more of the same game or bought the sequel from the same developer).
Greed, as you term it, has its place in this industry. Without a certain sense of greed (wanting more than what you have currently), we wouldn't have any of our games (except for perhaps slime volleyball). Go too far and "greed" self-destructs, it drives away players and prevents profit. CCP has created a game that does far more to balance "greed" with pleasing and maintaining a player base than any of a multitude of games or developers.
Your simplistic use of "Greed" without context or support merely displays your ignorance of not only the subject at hand (concerning whether Aurum items are P2W), but your ignorance in general. _______________________________________________________________________________________________
Speaking of which. Concerning the question: whether Aurum items are P2W or not?
My opinion is that at this juncture they are P2W. Without a larger period of time in which to dilute the accelerated advance of SP among users with booster, the increased SP with which those boosters provide allow players to realize a significantly greater advantage over those players who decline to pay for the augmentations. 'However, Aurum items in general and in the future will not be P2W as players catch up in terms of SP and in |

Only AUR items I have issue and concern over are the boosters. I feel as though boosters are a grey line of P2W.
Everything else is, meh. |

The real 'greed' issue is yourself. You want to keep your money while using a service.
If you don't have money then fine, provide content for the rest of us by participating. Just don't complain about the company that is providing the service that you are using free of charge. |

DUST needs an income, and they did it right. There is NO AUR item that does not have an isk item comparable. AUR is used to help those that either don't have much time to play, or those who want to make more isk, or simply those that just wish to invest in DUST and help it out..
I used to think the game was P2W till my question got answered on stream and really helped make sense to me. This game is NOT pay to win, and there is your proof. |

I figure I would pay like $20 to $40 for this free game...so I payed $20 and will likely pay another $20 later on. I like paying people for stuff I enjoy.
I have AUH from the purchase so I have been using it...mostly on Augments for more SP. I did buy a dropship to learn to pilot on and a rifle damage booster blueprint for my medic. |

This is interesting. I have not thought about it like that before. The non-paying players are providing cheap AI for me to kill. =) |

I have a good idea. Quit. It bothers you so much. Bye. |
