We're already cybernetic super-soldiers with advanced armor who look through iron-sights on our ARs rather than red-dot or holographic sights. Can't get much more barbaric and nonsensical than that, so why not add swords, too? |

Things like a giant sword has no place in the setting of EVE online/Dust.
It is a close range weapon, the only viable close range weapon is a light-to-carry, concealable back up knife to accompany your main weapons aka guns. We already have nova knives and we don't need another knife/sword/melee weapon. |

Thats all I need, some stupid piece of equipment everyone on the enemy corp will just pack 1 copy of and place claymores everywhere making it impossible to cap points. Then they will just suit swap at the nearest supply depot to get more claymores and keep placing them everywhere.
And more melee weapons are bad to, Nova Knifes already suck

IDK about Claymores, though with the addition of foliage, can we get some machetes as sidearms?
I'm not talking about Nova Knives either, something bigger that just coincidentally does damage while being a "tool" |

Let me make it clear that this is complete sarcasm after seeing upwards of 5 posts about claymores. Of course we don't need swords when plasma flying through the air at high velocity can kill someone much easier. |
